I'm on a mission to collect all the scents that remind me of my life. Some are what i wore, and some just remind me of friends or are just scents I used to smell all the time
I'd love to hear what other people's are!

Mines starts with impulse vanilla kisses. Then body shop white musk. As a teen/ early twenties Britney spears fantasy, PR - black xs (the original), TF - black orchid, mid late twenties to now CK - secret obsession, TM - Angel , CK - Eternity. Recently I've discovered Elizabeth Taylor's Diamonds and Emeralds which I love it's smells so similar to Amarige by Givenchy which my mum used to wear but a fraction of the price, it makes me feel like I'm getting a hug from my mum and I like to think my boys will associate that scent with me.

Eau de Gucci- for a sample int he late eighties when I was in my end and loved it. First perfume I ever bought for myself. Nothing compares.

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Rosa Magnifica- amazing rose scent that reminds of starting work after University. First time I bought a day scent.

Tom Ford Youth Dew Amber Nude for Eatee Lauder- I’d just turned thirty, was killing it in my career and the hype around this launch was unbelievable. Pre-crash bough ties were a different world.

Penhaligons Elizabethan Rose- have he original one the retread is a poor imitation. The successor to the sadly discontinued Rosa Magnifica hy Guerlain until it itself was discontinued. Again, my daytime work perfume.

Penhaligon’s Halfeti- a scent that married both day and night for me, the professional snd the personal. I was in a totally new place in life- married, a homeowner, felt really secure. Can’t wear it now because it reminds too much of the ex.

I definitely had a bottle of anais anais but I can't remember the scents at all

Overpowering floral smell. somehow smelled 'powdery', but even I'm not sure what I mean by that. Takes me instantly back to being about 13.

Blue grass, kikku, and 4711 to remind me of my mum
Chanel no 5 to remind me of the time I was too young to wear it

My first ever scent - Pretty Peach from Avon .
It was a gorgeous bottle with a peach as a stopper.
Pagan - my Mam wore this and it was a tiny bottle in a much larger box. I found it in a chemist a few years ago and couldn’t wait to give her it ….. omg it was vile !
Pure silk , Jovan musk oil and Geminesse. The perfumes of my teens.
Followed by KL , Cinnabar, Fiji, Aromatics , Clinique Wrappings,Ysatis, EL Beautiful, the original YSL Champagne, Madame Rochas Femme, Happy and Opium.
But the fragrances I will always love and never leave -

@isthismylifenow - Lace was a favourite of my Mum, she also loved Le Jardin by Max Factor.
When I was very small, I remember her wearing Evening in Paris , which was kept for special occasions !
It was in a tiny, dark blue glass bottle with a silver top.
DH bought me a bottle of Soir de Paris, but it doesn’t smell the same, sadly.

I just received a bottle of Ultraviolet, it smells just like I remember!
