Snag tight?

I usually buy Primark cheapies but they're awful really. I'm a chubby 16 with short legs so they're either way too long or they dig in.

I'm balling at paying £20 odd quid for 3 pairs of tights though!

I bought 5 pairs based on the recommendations on here and only one pair survived past the first wear. I always wonder how many of the posts on these threads are their media marketing team.

I'm not in marketing either. I work in Property Services for a major U.K. financial institution.

Popsy tights are also brilliant, really comfy and stay up - £6.95 a pair (I think), excellent colours and they last. I’ve not tried Snags but I’ve seen Popsy compared favourably with them.

Search for popsy dresses and you’ll find the website, then search tights/footless tights/underpops (=chubrub shorts)

I'm 5ft 10 and they're the only tights that fit me

I think people rave because if you've never been able to get tights before, it really is a game changer!

I bought them after people raving about them and they laddered on the first wear!

I really didn't think they were anything special.

I only have one pair, but am planning to buy more (footless this time) very soon. I am size 10, 5'3" ish but have abnormally long legs / short torso, and these are the only ones I've found that don't fall down when I am walking etc. Very impressed.

They do go in holes on the toes eventually, but not as quickly as lots of other brands. The best tights I've found for longevity are Boden, but they're not as comfy as Snags.

Their chub shorts were a game changer for me. I never used to wear skirts or dresses in the summer because my thighs rub

They’re brilliant. I have loads of them, they wash and wear incredibly well.

I'm going out for the day (food and drinks) with some friends next Saturday

I always, always wear the standard uniform of 'jeans and a nice top'

I'm itching to go buy a dress and some white trainers BUT

I'm 43
Really short at 5'1
Size 16
Massive boobs
Lymphedema (foot and leg swelling) so would prefer a long dress

Would you? Do you? Can anyone recommend anything?

I've got a thread running on snag tights and have discovered chub rub shorts via that so I have some in my basket!

I love them. They actually fit me properly - no digging in or rolling down. Also, a massive benefit for me is that their Vanilla Marshmallow shade is actually pale enough for my milk bottle coloured legs - I'm not walking around with a pale top half and an orange bottom half for once. Joyous.

Oh god and the chub rub shorts have genuinely changed my life too. No more cutting leggings short to improvise shorts to go under dresses in the summer. They are the answer to thigh chafe!

It’s the postage that’s stopped me ordering. That and the fact that they don’t pay for returns. It annoys the hell out of me.

I have loads and love them, though I'm very full with tights and stick to black or navy. I've damaged a couple of pairs of the 50 denier but they're definitely more hard wearing than others, and don't roll down ever. I've taken to wearing trainer packs underneath with boots which has increased their longevity significantly, as most holes would come on the toes.

I love them. Totally worth it and they do last.

Are the 120 denier ones nice? Looking for a pair for winter for work, which denier for spring?

I am also a fan. I’ve always found it difficult to find tights that don’t roll down - and they don’t. Mind seem pretty indestructible tbh and comfy.

Can anyone confirm if they're quite sturdy and long lasting?? I could do with some but usually every single pair of tights I put my finger through on the first wear

I buy the thick ones and have several pairs that are now on their 3rd or 4th winter (didn’t really get worn in lockdown though). Just make sure not to tumble dry them.

Also there is sometimes a multi buy discount, so better to spend £50 in a chunk, if you can, than £10 per month for 5 months.

It’s the 80 denier I buy, the 120denier look great but aren’t in my colours.

For me Snag’s are great for fit, nothing else fits me as well - that’s why I buy them again and again. Love the Chub rubs too!

I like them because they go up over my tummy and don't fall down. I have some of the wool ones and they have lasted better than my falke ones.

I'm a classic idiot who ladders most tights under 60 denier just getting dressed. I've had Snag tights for a few years now and never laddered any of them.

I'm 5'10", 32" inside leg and size 22. I've never ever had tights that fit so these are amazing. I've also got the chub rub shorts and they are brilliant - I always used to wear cycling shorts, but these are so much cooler to wear and very comfy.

I love the look of their pink leopard print bikini, but I'm not "body confident" enough to wear at my size....

Worth every penny. Only tights I’ve ever had that I haven’t had to keep pulling up through the day. I have had several pairs for years and they still look good as new
