What are you buying/have you bought for autumn/winter?

I loooove October-December and really impatient to buy some clothes for once the weather changes.

Anyone else?

Have you made any purchases yet?

I've just ordered a Parka as great prices at the moment on SuperDry.

I'm also wanting a new Gilet - loved my previous fat face one but it's too big now so will sell it and get a new one.

Think I also fancy an aviator jacket and some black biker boots. May just go for a cheapy jacket as will wear the parka for really bad weather and have a good waterproof already for wet days.

But I'm pretty clueless on fashion trends - so would love to hear what people who are more up to date are buying for next season. X

Sounds a lot but I lost weight and had a clear out.
I still need to get some going out clothes and some day dresses.
Everything I bought is more sustainable and will last longer than fast fashion which is how I'm trying to shop from now on.

I’m dreading autumn and winter because I hardly have anything to wear and I feel I need to buy so much. I usually get everything from charity shops but I don’t know how I’ll find the things I need! I have a capsule wardrobe so I’m quite careful about what I do buy.

I need new boots, new wellies as mine have split, a waterproof coat, at least one new jumper - maybe two, some trainers or comfortable flat shoes, one pair of jeans, some thick knee socks.

I just ordered a berry colored coatigan from Next. And I want to get some merino wool cardigans (I have 2 already) from Uniqlo.

I don’t actually need anything. I do have my eye on a fair isle jumper and some hiking boots with a red stripe up the back, though.

I didn't need anything, but I have bought this cardigan and a Gap cotton cable knit jumper in navy blue.

I have lost 3 stone so need to replace everything. I've felt like such a slob living in my stretchy gym gear while shops changing rooms were closed and I couldn't work out what size I was. I got so frustrated guessing and size charts being wrong and having to send endless online returns back.

I would like a poncho, maybe cable knit. And a longline gilet, bodywarmer thing. I'd love some knee length boots but my legs are now too think for most and they flap about like wellies. I had to sell my beloved clarks that I had worn for millions of years - I'd wear them to death then buy whenever I saw them pop up on ebay.

I'd also like a bottle green cardigan, chunky, I think. And a leopard print scarf.

Where did you buy your cashmere from? I need to replace some cashmere cardigans that are now way too baggy since I lost weight.

I got my cashmere from Biden and got some really good deals on Brand Alley. It’s probably not the best cashmere but it was what I was looking for (v neck) and what I could afford - they had 10% off on Biden and at least 40% off on Brand Alley.

Superdry jacket for me too OP. Just a light one (I run pretty hot but also have 2 really padded ones left from last year 🤣). I also bought my first pair of dr. martens. I originally bought them for a weekend away in November, but I live them so much I reckon I'll wear them quite a lot.
Can't wait for this fuckkng heat to fuck off. I hate it!

I've just bought a red wool tartan mini skirt which I don't really 'need', but I love red tartan and was swayed by it having decent pockets.

Also a pair of big square sunglasses for the bright days where the sun is so low you can hardly see, and some nice cotton underwear (vests and knickers) because I'm sick of the cheap, ill fitting stuff that all seems to be modal now.

All from Matches since I had a voucher code and could justify a bit of a spree :).

So I’ve just gone an ordered a black cord pinafore. Thinking of teaming it with a t shirt, chunky cardigan, tights and Chelsea boots for a nice autumnal look

I nearly bought some biker style brown Chelsea boots from.barbour but tried them on and they were so uncomfy. Back to the drawing board!

The main things I have bought for autumn (both second-hand on ebay) are a pair of Fly wedge-heeled boots that can be worn turned up (calf-length and all black ) or turned down (the inside is grey), and a really unusual jacket with panels of different fabrics in red and black embroidered with gold.

I'd like a plain black batwing jumper too.
