Before I part with my money, I'd love some second opinions! I like the simple structured shape and the gold detailing. It also looks like the perfect size for my every day stuff, and has a handy strap too. Let me know what you think... Or if you have any suggestions for anything similar then let me know. I'm torn between this style and a crossbody! Budget up to £300.

I appreciate that we likely have very different lifestyles if this is a bag you need (I'm more of a rucksack and hoody person!) but to me it's really really boring. It kind of looks like something you could pick up in river island for £30 too, which is a shame given how pricey it is. I reckon you could do better for the money.

Nar. If I was spending that much on a bag I'd buy a proper designer bag second hand. The likes of RL, Michael Kors etc aren't really designer bags, they're not handmade and they don't generally have the lasting quality of a proper designer bag.

Don’t buy designer bags or have any bags that colour, but is nice and quite classic IMO.

A good, practical work-a-day bag but a bit unremarkable for the price. Def see the appeal though. I'd see if Brandalley has any bargains for a similar price or head to Bicester Village. Agree that MK and RL aren't proper designer bags.

@maireas I'm the type to carry the bare minimum (phone, purse, keys, lip balm, sunnies), so I have no problem with the size. I usually wear smaller, cross body bags so this is bigger than I'm used to!

I think it's overpriced for this design. That's probably due to the brand. Personally I would go for a brand that doesn't price up their bags so high.

So would a neat crossbody be what you're looking for? Any colour preferences?
