Beauty Advent Calendars 2021 - contains spoilers *titled by MNHQ at OP's request*

Can’t see a thread so I thought I’d start one. Yes, it’s unbelievably early, but I noticed Glossybox have already revealed their Advent Calendar contents for this year. Saw this reveal on YouTube this morning:

Have to say it doesn’t wow me, but there’s plenty of time and many more Advent Calendars to come, I’m sure!

I did see the Autograph calendar mentioned from M & S on one of the compilation websites recently. Hope they're doing a 'proper' one too.

This is my nagging worry, that the promised return of M&S will turn out to be just the 12 day one.

Advent calendar wise I'm thinking that F&M and Cult Beauty might be the best options this year. F&M for a bit of luxury and Cult Beauty for a bit of fun. If I don't get cult beauty, I'll probably just stick with F&M and M&S (or possibly next 🤔).

Agree @JustWhatIAlwaysWanted. Looking at the advertising for the M&S calendar and the size of the (presumed) tin, I can’t see how they could fit 24 items in there 😳. I’m also wondering if Fenwick will be doing a calendar? The way things are going it looks like it might be just F&M for me this year

Latest in Beauty and You need to be revealed too. Although last year the Latest in Beauty was just a beauty box with 24/25 items in it so I don't think it really counted.
Wouldn't it be great if Harvey Nichols brought one out?

I'd really like John Lewis and M&S to get a move on.

Hope you enjoy your Rituals calendar, Babyshark. I had the £59 version last year and it was all really nice. In January I took the empty box into the Y5 class I was working with and a group of them made a Victorian dolls house out of it by drawing pictures and sticking them behind the doors.

@kikipie - I am annoyed though that Fortnums and Holland and Barrett aren’t sending to the EU this year, and have protested loudly to them. I won’t be buying anything from them even for U.K. delivery this year.

Good on you. I'm still waiting for a reply from H&B as to whether they will have the calendar on the EU site this year. They didn't last year but I was able to buy it from the UK site for dd. Not an option this year.

Totally inexcusable for H&B as they have EU shops and an EU website. Not impressed with Fortnums either but they could be excused on the basis that they are UK only.

But Fortnums say they will deliver all over the world, just not Europe!

Have Asos or Amazon revealed theirs yet?

Beauty expert sometimes do a good calendar. It's normally only 12 day, but with all full size items, which I prefer over calendars that are mostly mini items.

Haven't seen anything on it yet this year though

My Feel Unique has arrived. The calendar has been firmly put away, but the GWP is fantastic. Very pleased indeed. Even the sun cream is worth a try for me, a heavy duty sun protection factor that is suitable for the face. It says it prevents allergic reactions to the sun. It will all be used, and the makeup bag is lovely as well.

Doh. Gutted as it d decided my list could be Decleor and maybe M snd S. Feel Unique had a GWP for 120£. Which was cost of Decleor.

The rituals calendar last year was good value and a nice box, but it turned out I only liked a couple of the scents, so giving it a miss this year. But great as a taster of all the products and scents!

This is what I wondered .,, was looking at Rituals as it's a new brand for me and I think I want a focus on body but scent is so personal.

But what if we hold out for M&S only for them to reveal in October that it’s a 12 day calendar and by then it’s too late to order any others because they’re sold out?

I don’t think I have the nerve for this game. I don’t know how you all do this every year. My nerves have gone and I’m beyond obsessive with checking websites for updates

Unless Selfridges, Fenwicks, Harrods or another luxury brand come out with something amazing then I'm going to buy N-a-P. I have last year's lovely F&M box so the dull packaging doesn't bother me.

I was so sure it would be Liberty this year!

And I'm obviously still keen to see M&S 😁

@Gomalo, I agree it’s tricky. My pick so far of the more affordable multi-brand calendars is definitely Next; if you don’t generally get a lot of beauty boxes/GWPs/calendars I think this could be a good choice, regardless of what M&S do.

I’ve had yet another look at Liberty and sadly it’s a definite no for me, as I’ve never had one. Actually, depending on pricing, the new director’s kit looks a far better proposition:

I was thinking that I will probably order Next if M&S haven't released any details by the time it comes out. Although admittedly, I mainly want it because the miniature Marc Jacobs is just so cute! 😂
