Are white toenails the only 'in' colour right now?

I'm going for another gel pedicure today and just wondered if I should change from white to something else

I do like the white, I like white anyway. But I also have it as it appears to be the height of nail varnish fashion right now

Is this actually true? Everyone seems to be painted white at the moment

Reminds me of Tipexing my nails at school. Mine are silver, probably deeply untrendy, but it goes with my jewellery. I also have a favourite turquoise/teal colour, but foolishly omitted the base coat and had green stained nails for weeks.

Ooh can this turn into a 'show us your mani' thread please? These are mine, it's gel polish on my natural nail and I'm so proud of them being this length 😆

My toes are the cliche white but I'm considering a pale pink next time as yours look lovely Op

Here’s my toes.... bronze which I know isn’t fashionable but I wanted it.
I’m having fingers gelled tomorrow with white but with a gold dust. With nails I like to try out every colour and not get too stuck on one thing.

I think coral, fuscia or red are the only acceptable toe colours! I think the white looks awful if I'm honest but if you like it then go for it! The bronze I've tried a few times but always feels too dull on me so I stick to winter for that.

Really though it's a proper yellow! Not too happy with them but the change is nice (I usually have pale pink on hands or white)

I have this on my toes at the minute (not my nails!)

I realised yesterday that I'm not seeing any toenails this summer as virtually everyone seems to be wearing trainers instead of sandals, so I don't know what's in. I don't like white though, I prefer corals and pinks.

I also like the yellow

I had no idea there was an ‘in’ for toenail colour! Most people seem to have shades of red or pink don’t they? I tend to have royal blue or grey myself though!

Simone Biles was wearing white on her toenails at the Olympics. Great on her skin tone.

Watching love island last night one of the girls has white fingernails, DH asked why she's done her nails with tip-ex I agree with him, I think white on fingers or toes just looks horrible. Your pale pink toes are much nicer!

Same. I haven't seen many people in sandals because the weather hasn't been great either, and lots of people don't bother getting their toenails done.

White is very ‘in’ where I live but it’s a bit, errrr Love Island.
I am really boring and always go some kind of variation of red or pink on my toes (anything from a very deep red in Winter to bright pink in the Summer)
Personally not a fan of anything metallic as think it looks a bit like it should be accompanied by a pair of Hotter sandals.
Also not keen on the different colour on every finger thing, as looks like what my 8 year old niece would chose.
But each to their own!

Just go with a colour you like. I wouldn’t care about what is in.

Sorry but I think white looks awful and the yellow looks like cheese. But I am definitely not "on trend" so if that matters to you, you can happily ignore my opinion!

How do you know what is fashionable? I must not be watching the right programs. I think I will stick to my usual reds and pinks, I tried blue once and it looked awful, as if I was freezing.
