Are white toenails the only 'in' colour right now?

I'm going for another gel pedicure today and just wondered if I should change from white to something else

I do like the white, I like white anyway. But I also have it as it appears to be the height of nail varnish fashion right now

Is this actually true? Everyone seems to be painted white at the moment

Red in winter
French in summer

I don't like all white, looks like tipex

I'm wearing barry M red black right now so far from on trend. (Barry's answer to chanel rouge noir)

I also love pinks, hot coral reds, orange, all look nice in summer. I don't like bright tippex white but I sometimes like a shimmery pale gold or cream, or glitter white (at christmas!) :o

I'm a red toenail girl. But could not under any circumstances be described as fashionable!

@closeyourpies ah I see, I have deathly white feet so they are always a bit corpse like!

I'm old and have pale pastel baby pink with a deep tan. Really pleased with them and don't care if I'm a bit muttony 🤣

I know it’s daft but I like to be on trend even if I fail most of the time.

I’ve seen a lot of pastels about. I’m not keen on white but keen to try other pale colours.

French to me feels very early noughties and I really dislike it on toes.

But agree there is a correction fluid look about them

I agree. Sorry OP. I'm surprised you are shocked that a lot of us didn't know that white toe nails were "in".

I didn't know either. My current favourite colour is the nail polish that came in this summer's M & S beauty bag. It is a lovely coral, and looks great on tanned feet.

I didn't know white was in! I always go for red or bright coral/orange in the summer as it suits my skin tone and goes well with a bit of a tan.

Bright orange or pink for me in summer, and a dark purple in winter!

How many toes do you see regularly?

Does anyone know what this green m/yellow stuff is on my feet they're putting on? It's like a scrub in a lemon wedge shape. Thought I'd ask whilst I'm here

The lady says 'it's for your feet'. Smells nice and feels very good

Surely nail varnish is the perfect thing to follow fashion in? Cheap, temporary, not wasteful (except insofar as nail varnish is inherently “unnecessary”).

I can’t bring myself to like white and I’m too old for it, but I do recognise that it’s currently on trend. I might switch to a pale pastel blue as a compromise, if it ever stops raining.

Pastel colours in general are very in. I love lilac on my toes with my gunmetal grey vegan Birkenstock’s.

I do like classic red and coral and have also had neon pink which looks ace with a tan.

White is great as an opaque base for pink or other sheer colours. I have white gel then paint other colours (non gel) on top to suit my mood.

As the weather has taken a downturn I am giving my nails a breather from nail polish as no-one can see them anyway.

Mine are turquoise. I haven’t seen any white ones in the wild.

Foot exfoliater most probably. Can’t you ask the person doing your toes?

I love the white, and it looks wonderful when your feet are tanned; I've had white toe nails at least once each summer for the last three years -- and I shall soon be 65.

I currently have Essie's Cute As A Button on my toes - pretty coral colour. I don't tan so can't comment on that aspect.

Looks like a toddler got bored with the Tippex!!

Mine are currently Essie's Aruba Blue - metallic royal blue. White would make me look like I have trench foot, thanks to very pale skin which freckles rather than burns. I like your new pale pink though, OP.
