Your perfect work trousers?

I’m looking for a couple of pairs of smart or at the very least ‘smart-casual’ trousers for work. I never wear trousers, only dresses, so am totally lost.

Which trousers do you wear for work? Inspiration needed! 💐

Just wanted to update to say that I received my online order of the M&S £15 trousers today + a pair of slim leg ankle grazers also from M&S (think they were £20).

Both are great and very flattering. Thank you to those who recommended them 💐 Youve saved me lots of time and money!

Marks Autograph silk and wool. I have three pairs in different sizes. I wash mine with wool wash (they say dry clean) . Ankle grazers with stretch and deep pockets for your phone, £59. First pair i have had 7 years. I am tall, plump with skinny legs.

As someone who can't afford the likes of Zara, Boden or M&S, I live in supermarket clothing and find them perfectly adequate even for events, never mind work.

So my suggestion is to give Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's a look, you should find done pretty decent trousers for under £20.

I have M&S navy blue collection ones. Flattering and hardwearing.

I'm an hourglass - so modern 12/14 overall with a 10 waist - and Oliver Bonas are now the only place I buy trousers from. I can even wear jeans from there.
