The new cover photo of Harry and Meghan for Time magazine has really reminded me of the Charles and Diana stamp. I think it's the distorted height thing and making way for logo/letters, which creates a somewhat awkward feel.

Charles has never been a looker but that stamp portrait is particularly unflattering.

I find the H&M influential persons thing…. Interesting 🤔. Influential at doing what exactly?
I’m reminded of an old episode of The West Wing where publicist CJ is lobbying to get a terrible producer a place on Hollywood’s most influential list. I wonder if people were lobbying hard for H&M.

Jose Andres who wrote the Time magazine article about them runs World Central Kitchen which receives money from the Archewell Foundation. He could hardly have said they are a couple of chancers. So, yes, more PR than impartial appraisal.

Given recent events, I've come to the conclusion that it's all PR with most members of the royal family. With the possible exception of Princess Anne.

I have no idea who would be influenced by H&M, surely they're irrelevant now and just another rich couple who like to tell the poor folk what to do? I find the whole thing a bit baffling if I'm honest.

Yes. And yes Frugal, unless anyone has earned expertise, I don't necessarily want to be told what to do by merit of accident of birth or marriage. I really think Meghan has fabulous personal casual style. I love that close up of her jewellery. Looks stylish and very luxe.

Oh dear, Maxima has not yet successfully deployed wide-legged culottes, I don’t think. She does love to keep trying, though.

Not keen on the style of dress, I but I can appreciate the aesthetic and think she really suits the bright white - and it's sweet to see the beam on the groom's face!
They seem to enjoy doing things in a low key way which must be a nice contrast for the family to the high profile stuff they do.

What I like in that photo is how happy they look, especially James. I'm also not really a fan of that style of dress but she's beautiful so I think could get away with a lot.

James really looks like Kate. I never noticed the resemblance before. Their smiles are very similar.

I know I missed the moment but one tweet I saw about the Time photo (the one with M in the white jumpsuit) was that it looked like Harry was her hairdresser explaining to Meghan what he was going to do to her layers
