Time magazine - Meghan looks lovely, Harry.. well, flattering is a term I'd use.
Kate - smart, appropriate and I like the trousers as a change from dresses. We may need a shoe intervention, though.

I think Kate looks great. Businesslike and appropriate for the occasion, but nothing fashion forward, which is fair enough. Lovely swishy hair!

H&M banging on about compassion again - Harry seems to have grown loads more hair and looks hilarious crouching behind Meghan! Meghan's skin is absolutely amazing and her hair is fabulous. I really like both outfits but the second photo seems to make her look more compact than I think she is. She has an enviable figure so it's not her-is it photoshop distorting the picture or is it me seeing something that's not there?
Second outfit looks dark green, which makes me want a green polo neck and trousers now! I am a bit chubby, so maybe it's not a good idea-is it only for the slim?

Oh, not so good with that photo-I thought the trousers were black. Agree that the cut is good. Loving that trousers are going smarter rather than skinny.

I think that photo has been brightened - they look navy or black in other pictures. It's a snooze from me as I hate beige jackets. Always seems a bit "safari".

I think that’s a photo taken with a flash in an aircraft hold? The trousers are definitely a dark navy blue in the sunlight.

I think the light is out of balance in that photo of Kate, making her hair look orange, which I'm sure it really isn't.
I'm pleased she's wearing smarter trousers, I quite like the stone and navy combo, and it's appropriate for the engagement, a working day rather than a fashion shoot.

It’s a perfectly nice look - I like the bag and the blazer together (I wondered if she was carrying the bag as a device to stop her trying to shake people’s hands - it looked a bit awkward sometimes!). My kingdom for a more exciting shoe choice, but she’s never going to change…

Meanwhile, here are Harry & Meghan on the cover of Time, and one of the inside shots. Looking very much the modern power couple, even if it’s heavily photoshopped (Harry’s hair!). And woop - he has a new suit!!

Omg what’s with the pouffy hair on Harry? I like the dark green outfit, not so keen on the white on Meghan, makes her look oddly wide at the hips. And is Harry crouching behind her? Seriously?

I'm sure I've just read that the top was £400. Which seems a lot for a, whilst perfectly lovely, long-sleeved white top.

Nicer photos of Kate's outfit on NMR. On reflection I'm not 100% sure about the blazer. The trousers are the navy Jigsaw ones.

I know what you mean, Deftly. If you swapped out the hat for a tea towel secured with a dressing gown cord, she could easily be a shepherd in nativity play.

So true, Deftly. It's all a bit "Shepherd's Watched" isn't it? Still, it's Max, so we forgive her. I saw a pic of her in a gorgeous green dress recently, can't find it now.
Leti is 49 today, wearing a repeat Hugo Boss denim shirt dress and vertiginous Magrit shoes.
