Everyday pink lippy

Any recommendations for a lovely rose pink or dusky pink lippy? I'm a student atm so small treats are so nice these days but I really can't justify spending loads on a lippy so the cheaper the better, though I realise £5 or £6 is no doubt miles better than £2 - £3! I bought a Boots Natural Collection one and it's like a melted crayon 😕
Nice colour but terrible quality so it's now in the possession of my 10 yo dd!
My colouring is fair & I'm looking for something that would do everyday/for work/out in the pub. Tia for suggestions & looking forward to availing of the collective wisdom!

Have you thought of a tinted Vaseline tin @disconnected101
It's 99p
I have the pale pink one and the red one
You may have to reapply it but I really like the tiny hint of colour especially from the red one with the added moisture and no need for a mirror .. stick my finger in and slather it on
Very low maintenance here, its 99p in Body Care and probably £2+ in Boots

The one I use sounds exactly what you want. It's Revlon Softsilver Rose.

I do like tinted lip balm 66babe but really dislike the greasiness of vaseline & getting my hair stuck to my lips. I use lip balm a lot but I would like the deeper colour of a lipstick. Thanks for replying though!

Ask for a Mac lipstick for your birthday. They're the best, you won't regret it

Orcadianrythyms · 26/07/2021 21:44

Gale Hayman - Cinema. Perfect nudey pink and only £5 or £6 on eBay.

Thelikelylass · 26/07/2021 21:55

Rimmel Asia.

A brand called Milani (can’t advise on specific colour)
They’re so reasonable, and smell amazing. The colour really lasts too.

Bananaman123 · 26/07/2021 22:28

Cheap version id go for a lip pencil and lipstick at primark. Expensive version an Origins one in pink petal or nars lip balm in dolce vita is gorgeous

Sorrycantreadtest · 26/07/2021 22:53

I've been using a tinted lip balm from Burts Bees. It isn't at all greasy and the colour stays for ages. Also, as a bonus, it leaves my lips beautifully moisturised.

PlayItCool · 26/07/2021 22:57

I like the Maybelline baby lips (awful name!) tinted lip balms. There is a reddish pinky one in an orange tube, looks really natural and much nicer than some pricier ones I've tried (looking at you Clarins!)

disconnected101 · 26/07/2021 23:21

good idea diddlediddle but I'd be waiting til next year!
Bananaman123 I'd no idea Primark did make up.
I'm going to make a list and head to the nearest big Boots - which happens to be close to Primark - and have a good browse. I'll have a look at the others online too.
Thanks for the responses :D

Revlon cloud blotted, like a lip gloss but I find it very light and soft. Lovely colour too!

For budget, I really like Flormor or NYX lipsticks. However, if you can stretch to MAC, I think they are unbeatable (Matte lipsticks) and worth the investment - still way cheaper than most high end brands.

disconnected101 · 26/07/2021 23:41

blahblahblah321 that colour is lovely!
I'm now convinced MAC must be worth it so it'll go on my xmas wish list Grin

Googling that last Revlon one and it threw this up at the top. Sorry, but do they not look like cervixes? Hmm

Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk is my favourite colour. It's not cheap but put it on your birthday or Christmas list.

disconnected101 · 27/07/2021 16:27

Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk sounds incredible, brilliant reviews & a proper cult favourite.
In my mind I'm making a list of things I want for when I graduate and get a proper job with an actual salary.
Naice lipstick might just be 3rd after mortgage & car...

@disconnected101 charlotte tilbury pillow talk or look of love.

They come in matte regular gloss etc and they have mini versions if you can’t splash for a full size or are worried about buyer’s remorse. They have a 10% off sale on
