Thought's on these shoes

I'm going to a wedding at the beginning of August. I have found the dress I will be wearing but am finding it harder finding the right shoes. I'm quite tall (5'10) so I rarely wear heals but I've seen these and thought they are quite nice and the heal isn't too high. I like that they look quite "vintage".

What are your thoughts?

Agree with all the other comments, the sandals are much better. You won’t be able to walk in the ASOS ones

Plenty of people do, and the model does appear to be taking a selfie with her mobile in her bedroom, which is why I thought it was you.

Many people do, so others can see their colouring/size/shape and make suggestions.

I've NEVER seen anyone NOT explain that its a model, taking a selfie, and not themselves in the photo!!!

Because we are all making fashion suggestions based on the size, colouring, look etc of the model- not you!!!!

Like I said above I would have just worn the shoes in the picture of that was the case. I also said I never wore heals so I thought it would have been obvious. Sorry

My colouring is fairly close to the models though and I'm a size 10/12 so not far off

No I'm sorry they don't go with the dress at all. You need something more summery, not round toed and a lighter colour.

I've posted a couple of shoes that I've just ordered, one pair are flat espadrilles so quite similar.

The black ones don’t work but I think either of the pairs you ordered probably will. Toenails to match the dress would be nice with the sandals.

I'm going to go against the grain and say that neither of the sandals you've ordered are suitable for St Paul's Cathedral, especially the espadrilles. The dress could be smart enough but you really need a fabulous bag and shoes and, possibly, a hat. Weddings where I'm from are quite a big deal and most people wear hats.

Also, why are you paranoid about looking 'huge? I'd kill for your height. Own it! My niece is 6ft and rocks her heels.

Thats why I was worried about wearing sandals.The couple who are getting married are both quite relaxed and I don't think they would mind what I wear unless it was really casual or offensive.

It's something that I've been picked on for, mostly at school. I have a bit of a complex about my height
