I love all those @Shannith. Especially the dress!

I’m in a different office at work today and the aircon is slightly less arctic. Still feel like I’m dressed for autumn though.

Our local charity shops don’t have a £1 rail. You’d be looking at on average £6 for a top/blouse, and £8 - £12 for a dress. So I still need to think before I buy.
They’re also pretty smart at identifying premium items so for eg I bought a Jigsaw cashmere jumper (which looked unworn) for £25. So much cheaper than buying new, but not dirt cheap.

One of our local charity shop does annoy me though as they are unable to identify very very dated styles, so they’ll automatically charge £15 for something Reiss, even if it’s bodycon from 2008 and very dated now.

@obliettebravo I love that dress. What a nice colour. I saw a lovely jumpsuit in another charity shop today and I nearly bought it because I love your but realistically I don't have any real places to wear one.

@KiteflyingKat ours are a mixture. Some priced optimistically, some good, some £1 with loads of discounted items too (British Heart Foundation) BHF is my mainstay. My local Salvation Army is where they send all the high end and vintage stuff so shopping there is more like shopping. I'm in the market for some crazy flares so might pop in (ABBA concert with DD and her friend) though I'm tempted to make some.

I've been entertaining children all day so I am in pants and an old T-shirt now they have finally gone.

I’ve listed some clothes on Vinted. Not used it before and heard mixed reviews so let’s see how we get on….

Going shopping tomorrow & will try and look at some chunky sandals. I love my white Birkenstock’s but it keeps raining, and DD keeps getting her feet dirty then standing on my shoes…so black ones might be better!

I'm in Brighton with DD balancing my desire to mooch around the lanes with hers to go crazy on the pier. She is winning.

I just popped into the Lucy&Yak shop and want one of their jumpsuits. If I lived in Brighton rather than a (reasonably close) village my outfits would be much cooler.

@Sooverthemill - all I’ve done to my hair is stop dyeing it, so it looks lighter because of the grey! I really should get it cut again - I got the “it’s been 10 weeks” reminder text from my hairdresser over a week ago.

I’m hoping to start increasing my days in the office from next week (I did 2 consecutive days this week for the first time since March 2020). I wonder if my outfits will change when I’m no longer WFH.

@Sooverthemill I’ve listed some stuff on Vinted finally - so far had a few people “favourite” them but no sales. TBH I don’t want to sell everything at once as I don’t have time to spend hours packing/posting, so if I can shift them slowly over time that would be fine. I’ve priced to sell (I think), but need to make it worth my while so I’m not selling for £1/50p. I decided to try Vinted instead of eBay as I find the fees structure on eBay complicated and always seem to get hit with big bills when I sell on eBay. Let’s see how I get on. I’ve also got kids clothes to sell.

@OublietteBravo I’m updating my wardrobe a bit with a view to returning to the office. I bought these sandals as although we’re not a formal office they are tightening the dress code a bit so trainers & flip flops are not longer acceptable. So I thought these would be ok (obviously not with the denim shorts)

Continuing with my “love it or list it” & I’m unsure about this shirt. I like it but it’s ever so slightly too small across the shoulders and I have other white shirts I prefer.

@KiteflyingKat I find eBay easier and more transparent. They just charge 12.5% of the total payment from buyer. 2 days after sale I get the money into my bank account. They don't use PayPal any more ( though people can use it to buy)
