Some lovely outifts the last few days Soover
Weather here hasn't been too bad, a couple of showers yesterday but when I got home from work it was nice and sunny again and I had a good sea swim and then we sat out in the garden until quite late having tea and a bottle of wine.
I heard it's terrible weather down in Devon and Cornwall, My eldest ds is camping down there so hoping he's ok!

It's mild but dull here today

Skirt - another Superdry sale bargain (£12)
Jumper - hush (light summer cashmere from a few years ago - it's getting really quite scruffy but it's soooo useful I'm loathe to throw it out)

No idea what shoes - black chunk sandals probably. Off to an art show with DS later.

I went out for a walk first thing whilst it was actually sunny. It’s already clouded over. Rain forecast for later.

Jumpsuit: Brora
Trainers: Jigsaw

20FlowerPower · 30/07/2021 12:19

Thanks @EllaPaella - yes recent, but I can't see it on their Sale website so maybe I was lucky to pick up in store?

20FlowerPower · 30/07/2021 12:21

@EllaPaella I have a rapanui t shirt and it's TTS. I got S and it's fine on my 10

Sooverthemill · 30/07/2021 12:56

@EllaPaella thank you! Trying to make an effort as I'm so knackered and it definitely makes me feel better.
We have rain and wind still. All our garden furniture has been out away and we are watching the roof!

Sickoffamilydrama · 30/07/2021 18:51

I see @Sooverthemill has answered @EllaPaella i'm tallish and they are hip length on me and lose but I'm a 14 on top but went for a 16 as I wanted loser style. They have washed well and the seams have stayed straight I don't tumble dry them though. I might get some more and adapt them a bit just for interest.

Had a very busy day yesterday so no photo but I looked amazing 🙄 in actual smart workwear.

Actually wore my ECCO military style boots with this today as it's so cold a rainy here and long raincoat when outside which is fast becoming a good buy.

@Sickoffamilydrama I haven't worn my pink Levi's at all this year! It's been too hot or too wet ( 2 dogs and 3 cats all of whom rub me from thigh down). Grr

Purplecatshopaholic · 30/07/2021 22:54

Dress from Desigual. Socks from Marks I think - boss can’t see them via webex, lol

Dull like the weather today... but

The are some jeans from the £1 rail - M&S boyfriend/relaxed

They are too big round the waist but I used a hack I saw on TikTok- tie a ribbon or similar round the last 3 hoops at the back and tighter like a corset until they fit. Genius.

Top - also £1

  • Shirt - Cloth & Stone, old
  • Jeans - M&S “Sophia” with the ends cut off because they were so ridiculously long. Turn ups didn’t work as the insides are black so I thought I’d cut the ends off……
  • Sandals - Clarks

@KiteflyingKat gorgeous outfit, love the shirt
@Shannith good tip, I've also seen people hooking button through a belt loop to make smaller temporarily

I have the same jeans in blue and I’m now wondering whether to cut them off too ……

KiteflyingKat · 31/07/2021 13:37

@Shannith it’s probably for the best there’s no £1 rail near here, or I dread to think about the size of my wardrobe Grin

I’ve reigned in my charity shop buying a bit. There was a time when I would buy loads as I was confident anything that I later changed my mind about could easily be ebayed and I would easily get my money back. But the second hand clothing market has tanked so charity shop prices around here are higher than eBay prices at the moment. I’ve currently got a few Reiss / Whistles dresses which don’t fit me & I can’t even get back what I paid for them on eBay / Vinted (around £8 each).
