@EllaPaella not brand new. I bought it in July or August. It’s 100% cotton. Style is Ethan. There’s a lovely pink one! New knitwear up today and I’m umming and ahhing about this one. I can wear merino no problem . But tomorrow I’m going through all my winter stuff!

Agree with others @PalacePaper chunky boots with long socks like the ECCO ones I have or DMs maybe those slighter higher boots like a Chelsea but not?
I have worn brogues as well but only if I am going out somewhere that isn't outside so a pub/gig. not that it has happened often

I had some time to kill on Friday so wandered around Manchester and whichever department store hasn't gone bust think it was House of Fraser still had all its changing room closed. They had loads of great sale items some of which I'm sure I would have spontaneously bought if I could have tried them on 🙄 I understand they are worried but they aren't really helping themselves.

It’s not raining! Prepared either way and hoping it will be too warm for the cardy. I’m about to start knitting a fair isle

I’m (hopefully) taking this week as annual leave. So I’m more casual than usual.

@OublietteBravo it's not cold here. I have the kitchen doors wide open! They are the fat face Lewis and I sized down. I also thought when I pulled them on how I wish I could get a pair of trousers this exact shape

I live in dungarees all year round. In winter I wear Birks and quirky socks (it's a thing I swear), high top converse, trainers with pulled up jazzy socks (although perversely not the same socks that go with the Birks), I also wear wellybobs a lot in winter as I live by the sea (again, with a third type of sock, I was unaware of my sock idiocy until I typed this).

House of Flint do the ultimate jumpsuit that I am coveting!

Slightly highjacking the thread although have been following it for a little while. To all those who wear high-top converse in winter, do you just wear regular ones or leather ones? I was going to get some but then changed my mind thinking they might be too cold

All her things are dreamy! I've got the fold dress coming for my birthday in the deep green colour linen, I'm extremely excited.

Also worth checking out the People Shop on instagram for similar handmade stuff, at a slightly lower price point.

I'm also a big fan of finding a good tailor/seamstress who can alter high street clothes so that they fit perfectly. They can also make copies of favourites in fabrics you like, invaluable!

I just wear the regular ones with socks, I've never bought leather converse. I hate new converse and wearing them in with a passion so I always buy second hand ones from eBay, someone else's heels have done the hard work then!

@Djjf28dhs I have a similar dilemma. I can never quite find the right season for my silver Hush high tops. I got them because I loved them on @OublietteBravo but I seem to switch straight from sandals to boots with no in-between. I might put them on today when I go out again if it stops raining. I wear thick socks.

So have switched to high tops. I'm out and it's raining. It's OK I thought, this jacket has a hood. A hood for a person with a tiny head. Oh well.

Just watched the Women's cycling tour as it started just down the road from me actually got a bit hot as wrapped up warm. Managed to get a nice silk shirt and scarf which I'll model later.

Etsy for chunky hand knit ones, Toast do delightful merino fair-aisle ones which I put with Birks. ASOS for jazzy kitsch ones for converse and trainers. Also really like the Adidas x Marimekko and Ivy Park collaboration socks. You can get some quite jazzy designer ones and not pay extortionate amounts for them.

I also like a chunky sock over a pair of tights with Conley pull on boots, but I digress.
