They are mid rise..so much more flattering than high waist

I really like them with my Dm's

Didn't manage to post yesterday, had a day with DH which was lovely. We went for a long walk so was wearing joggers, hoodie and walking boots, then out in the evening - top, Boden; skirt, Sosander; boots, Hobbs.

We saw the new Bond film - really enjoyed it, much better than I expected (won't say any more in case of accidental spoilers!)

@20FlowerPower I have a very similar cardigan to your grey &Other Stories one but with bee buttons instead of dinosaurs - do you find it gets very bobbly? Mine looks a bit unloved so I'm considering going over it with one of those fabric shavers, but as it's so fluffy I'm a bit nervous to do so.

Having said that I totally love it, and may wear it today

So, going out with DH at 9 and new boots won’t arrive until at least 10! Would this work? Old flat khaki suede ankle boots with new dress and khaki jacket from hush? Otherwise it’s blue/white platform trainers . My new boots would be perfect
Maybe I should wear jeans!

@Sooverthemill - either the boots or the trainers are fine (I have a slight preference for the trainers). Don’t wear jeans - the dress and jacket look great!

Can I join in please? I don't have a full length mirror at home so it's always tricky getting pictures. I've recently lost a little weight so feel a bit more comfortable in myself.

I chose the boots and added a cable knit ecru jumper because DH said it was freezing. He was right. And have contacted the retailer as I paid £8 for express delivery on Wednesday and I think they should be here by now!

@PalacePaper that looks like exactly the same cardi it's so cosy, but sometimes too warm for me. I've had a big of bobbling under the arms but not much to be honest. It very rarely gets a proper wash as I'm so scared of ruining it Love that plum skirt you've paired it with today.

I’m trying to remind myself what knitwear I already have. I’m not working this coming week - I really should go through my wardrobe and actually attempt to get rid of/sell the clothes I never wear.

Ok, so I really want to get some dungarees or a sleeveless jumpsuit this winter after coveting them for a couple of years (I'm always late to a trend 😆) I know there are a few of you on this thread who always look great in them - my question is about footwear 🤔 When you want ankles covered (I get cold!) but don't want to tuck into boots, what do you wear on your feet with them??

I may well be overthinking this but any thoughts would be very welcome!

I don't often go outside @PalacePaper but I wear trainers or loafers most often. If I did go out side I think I'd wear nice socks eg glitter socks? And to go outside I would wear ankle boots that went underneath the hem.

@PalacePaper: In the winter I tend to wear them with my Docs. Specifically dark-coloured knee socks + Docs. This means you can roll the trousers up a bit to meet the top of the boots without having a gap that leads to chilly ankles.

I can't be doing with most dungarees - especially those with flappy straps, but I do like my Lucy & Yak Juni Boilersuit. Love a jumpsuit though.

@PalacePaper I don't often wear dungarees in winter but if I do then I would wear with trainers or DM's. High tops would also look good.
I've just ordered a pair of flatform trainers as well, they would work too.
