Delurking to say that cord shirt looks great @Sooverthemill - actually, love all the outfits that I've seen on you. Is it the JL anyday one? Quality looks better in your pic than on website! I'm trying to talk myself out of an expensive Bellerose cord shirt and wondering if this might scratch the itch.

Yes it is! Thank you. I too bought this rather than a Toast one that is £125 ( I think). I was sure I'd send it back but I love it! £38 is fairly near a bargain for me ( I bet tesco or Sainsbury's have one actually but I can't get to real shops)

Thanks Soover. £38 is a bargain for me too, though I don't know how I got to this point! I suppose if you spend enough time scrolling through more expensive sites (as I do), it recalibrates you and you start thinking £100 odd for a top is perfectly reasonable! What's the sizing like? I'm probably an XS but don't like things too fitted.

Also, while I'm here , love that outfit 20FlowerPower. You look like a very modern beatnik, which is a look I'd like to channel!

I'm told the 2nd wives have all the fun @Sooverthemill hope the bloods are good.

I'm in a hotel tonight for a big meeting tomorrow but haven't got to enjoy it as been preparing all evening most of which has been battling DD laptop that I've borrowed as mine has died!

I’m missing the sunny weather. But at the same time I’m absolutely delighted to be able to wear boots again. I love my boots!

I’m WFH, so I’ll probably need to dig out a jumper. But I’m not feeling inspired by my current selection of knitwear. Perhaps a jacket instead?

@kuime it’s oversized. I got S for my 8/10 . I didn’t expect to keep it as I bought it as an extra for free delivery with some mugs! Surprised at how nice it was on. Not good on the hanger. Nice soft corduroy . I totally get that about prices. I buy much more expensive stuff now but with the view that I will have it for years. No more ‘that will do for now’ mentality hopefully.

We have had the heating on and my new electric blanket fortuitously arrived yesterday. DH hates them but I am up and down all night with DD often so it’s good for me

@Sooverthemill - I’m trying really, really hard not to buy more autumn/winter stuff - at least not until I’ve remembered what is already in my wardrobe. I’m so tempted by corduroy at the moment (jumpsuits, dungarees, dresses)!

I brought trousers and a skirt with me definitely the skirt I probably need to buy some high waisted work trousers as can never get these to work.

The white stiff trousers look great with the docs @OublietteBravo, I hadn’t even thought Of wearing them together.

I ordered the m and s sleeveless jumper and also a black one from next. Looking forward to trying them on.

I think I could do with some long sleeve T-shirt’s/tops. I think I got rid of quite a few.

@Sickoffamilydrama the skirt outfit is amazing, really good. The jeans I wore yesterday were mid rise and they felt so wrong all day! I may store them for a while. I definitely prefer high rise at the moment.

@Softpebbles my grensons are really comfortable. I wonder if different leathers come up tighter?

@Sooverthemill thank you. Small will prob be best for me too. Hoping to layer a thin roll neck jumper under it once it's (even) colder.

@Softpebbles I do like those grenson boots. I sent 4 pairs back as they were just too clumpy. Even though I wanted clumpy. But I very nearly kept the sheepskin lined pair as they were so comfy. Those ones are nice - more streamlined than the ones I tried. What style are they?

I am sitting in a pub on my own with a pitchfork and a spare pair of wellies. Class.

Today I started with a grey cardi from &Other Stories with silver dinosaur buttons.....but then my new Hush goodies arrived so I've switched to a leopard print new one from them.

Jeans are Hush Agnes in both, plus M&S Heatech vest later underneath.

@Shannith I have the sheepskin lined ones. I didn't find them clumpy at all. Sooo comfy. Annoyingly my new ones ( Penelope chilvers) have been routed to the working bloody sorting office! It's a common error here and I doubt I will get them in time to wear out tomorrow ( have a sitter at 9 am so we can go for coffee). And I paid £8 express delivery on Wednesday so it's not made me happy . I wanted to wear them with the blue dress

LBD today, old so can’t remember where from. With new autumnal boots from Schuh. And my dogs tail….lol. Loving everyone’s boots - it’s really getting chilly here.

Finally found some wide leg jeans that I am happy with and going to keep!
