Great outfits all round. We have had thunderstorms and hit sun. Odd

Such a stressful day at work! So glad it’s the weekend. Had a big meeting so a Ted Baker dress and Michael Kors boots won the day. Photobombed by the dog and one of the Purplecats.

I fell off the thread again! 🤦‍♀️Last few weeks have been a bit manic as I changed jobs so had the usual handover mania followed by starting at a new place. Loving it so far, though, and I feel like I'm getting a work/life balance back again, which is a good feeling, so will hopefully be popping up on here a bit more again!

Love your dungarees @Sooverthemill, and your painting is amazing @OublietteBravo. I'm very envious of anyone creative/artistic. I had to follow a child's step by step video tutorial to draw my DS a whale the other day... 😂

It was my birthday yesterday so we went out for lunch on Thursday and had a family day yesterday.

I am wearing a dress today, not sure whether to wear with my DM sandals or tan leather.

Sorry dress is from Roman - I read a thread recently which was slagging off Roman saying how awful it was. So I went to look and found this dress and ordered it I love it. It has a kind of ruched area at the front which is very flattering.

So far today I’ve collected DS from London without getting wet. And now I’m working my way through the mound of laundry he’s brought back with him.

We have loved seeing DS again recently as we couldn't over lockdown and it's just good seeing his face . He has also reunited with his first serious GF. They had a terrible falling out in 2014 and have got back together. I had guessed this ( I am a sleuth) and it's nice to find out officially. She is lovely. Even when they were split she used to visit DD and even did some washing for me when we were stuck in hospital and brought us a nice picnic one day. Fingers crossed

I've also done tons of autumn clothes shopping!

@Sooverthemill love today's outfit- the skirt is just so beautiful. Please share your autumn shopping haul! I just can't think about it yet as we are going away to Devon for two weeks on Friday so I just want to prolong summer a little bit more. I've ordered another Zara dress and some shorts for my holiday and one of those huge towel robes for getting changed on the beach. Would love to see what you've ordered.

I am boring today in Hush jeans, blowfish sandals and a T shirt from Passenger. Happy Sunday everyone.

@Littlemiss74 welcome! They are called the Alma relaxed fit jeans and I got them in 2019, they aren't selling them now. I wish I had bought several pairs because they are perfect.
Maybe we should lobby Hush to do them again! Very lightweight denim so definitely a summer jean.

Thank you @EllaPaella that’s a shame. I am looking for a pair of jeans that are not too skinny, more relaxed fit but not too loose. I think I’d like a bit of stretch in the material as in past when I’ve had 100% cotton they have got even baggier and they don’t look as good and I end up pulling them up all the time. Anyone know if such jeans exist?

@Littlemiss74 you could try the Hush boyfriend jeans, they are very similar to mine

@EllaPaella thank you yes I did look at those as they are exactly what I’m after but they are more than I’d normally spend so just worried about them getting baggier and wasting my money. I don’t have much to spend on clothes but would rather spend more per item if good quality and have less things. Have you found yours ok and don’t go baggy? Are they 100% cotton?
