Are these Pensioner Sandals?

I'll be wearing them anyway because they are very comfortable, but it has been suggested to me that it might actually be illegal for anyone not in receipt of their state pension to appear in public in these?

I just need to know so I can run if the fashion police are nearby.

I would argue that my determination to wear the pensioner sandals demonstrates my support for the septugenarian crowd.

Love them. (Off to tk maxx). However I have had granny style since my teens and to be quite frank, having followed some of the style threads on here, I find what alot of people wear is boring and love some of the frocks showcased on the 'oh my gosh look at this colourful monstrosity ' threads.

Yes me too! I remember them very well. A quick google tells me the company is long established, founded in Austro Hungarian Empire when it still existed so pretty contemporary with, say, Barbour.

My pensioner friend ls are intelligent creative brave and independent- they choose what they wear. They don't need the ask permission from anyone

They're comfy and weather-appropriate. They're not fashion-forward but who cares?? If people don't like it they can look away

FWIW I'm young(ish) and wear Nubuck sandals. OMG the comfort. My friends can womble around in heels if they want, I'm never going back.

They’re fine. I’ve got Merrell walking sandals though so who am I to judge?

The soles are a bit naff but I like them otherwise. Just don't wear them with tan tights and you should be fine.
