Never have I ever worn....

a pair of leggings
Just not my thing. They're popular, just never owned a pair (and I've had kids!)
Anything that you've never worn that most people seem to?

Because me arms are fat. Those who are enviably slim of arm look fine in them

Cowbells · 18/06/2021 11:52

a mini skirt or mini dress. Even when I was underweight I had rugby player's thighs.

Vohgue · 18/06/2021 12:23

Dungarees. Can't stand the look of these and don't want to look like a toddler

Tiered dresses, dont get it

Tevas and sandals of that kind because they are so ugly

And potato tops...

That's the last page alone.

EllaPaella · 18/06/2021 12:24

@Vohgue what are potato tops? I'm intrigued!

Vohgue · 18/06/2021 12:28

Sorry I was being a bit vague @EllaPaella

I was responding to the "this isnt a sneery thread" comments.

Bluesheep8 · 18/06/2021 12:31

I'd posted up thread about the fact that I can't wear cold shoulder tops (the ones with the cut outs on the upper arms) because my upper arms are really fat so the top looks as though it's got a large potato on each arm Blush

EllaPaella · 18/06/2021 12:46

@Bluesheep8 ah I see! Grin

knackeredcat · 18/06/2021 12:48

Bodycon dresses (I'm too big!)
Cold shoulder tops/dresses (as above)
Bardot tops/dresses (ditto)
Strappy high heeled or block heeled sandals
Nude colours (I'd look dead)

@Vohgue there's sadly another similar one running about white trainers and dresses.

Maireas · 18/06/2021 16:34

Yes, @EllaPaella, I thought that subject had been exhausted. It's not my style, but it works for lots of people. It usually gets ageist as well.

A dress with trainers.

Feedingthebirds1 · 18/06/2021 17:32

Since I was 13 I've not worn almost everything here (except yellow and a bra).

One to add - small floral prints. And I've never dyed my hair.

Maireas · 18/06/2021 17:51

OP posts:
CirqueDeMorgue · 18/06/2021 18:29

Crocs but I plan on rectifying that. Also, a wedding dress.

I bought some that were on sale once, when I was having a thin day.
They ended up in a charity bag.

BeachWaves2 · 18/06/2021 19:25

A poncho!

FlyingBurritoBrothers · 18/06/2021 19:31

Mine are defo not a criticism of other people's style choices.

There are lots of reasons why people don't choose to wear something: it doesn't suit their figure, maybe they find it too uncomfortable, they don't have the confidence, it isn't their "style" but like it on other people with a different style.

I'm all for people to dressing in what makes them happy, in fact I feel very strongly about it Grin

Blossomtoes · 18/06/2021 19:34

Mine aren’t either. I’d have been all over shorts and bikinis if my body was up to snuff.
