I'm a terribly dull dresser I'm sure. In terms of royal fashion, my inspiration for real life dressing is probably someone like Sarah Chatto (not that I come remotely close!).

I like Leti's style, but not the shoes!

Sliders. I saw someone on the beach once with fluffy ones and trainer socks. I was seriously wtf about that look.

I've never worn a maxi dress either. They seem a bit impractical and fussy, but they're very popular so we're obviously in the minority.

Heels. Never fancied breaking my ankles. I have EDS.

Tevas or that style of sandal. They are truly hideous

Shorts (past the age of 12) I hate them on my thunder thighs.

Me neither. Unless the sleeves are very loose, the bits of upper arm showing look like two big potatoes. For this reason I call them potato tops

In some cases they might be saying it because they wish they could, or just because it's not to their taste. Doesn't mean it's a criticism of anyone else imo.

I've not seen any sneering on here. It occurred to me that I've never worn an item of popular clothing. No judgement. I was interested in others' experience. Some people definitely laughing at themselves!!
