a pair of leggings
Just not my thing. They're popular, just never owned a pair (and I've had kids!)
Anything that you've never worn that most people seem to?

Cold shoulder top
Jelly shoes

Maireas · 17/06/2021 16:11

@gonow

Biker jacket. I have tried but look like a Susie Quattro tribute act

Well, @MotherofPearl, that's quite a list.
Although I'm guessing you take style inspiration from Max!

@Maireas! Grin I wish!

I'm a terribly dull dresser I'm sure. In terms of royal fashion, my inspiration for real life dressing is probably someone like Sarah Chatto (not that I come remotely close!).

Maireas · 17/06/2021 16:43

Oooh, Sarah Chatto always looks good.
I like Leti's style, but not the shoes!

Espadrilles.
Crocs.
Sliders. I saw someone on the beach once with fluffy ones and trainer socks. I was seriously wtf about that look.

Xanadu58 · 17/06/2021 16:55

A maxi dress

Blossomtoes · 17/06/2021 16:58

A bikini
Shorts
A mini skirt
Four inch heels

I’m pretty sure there must be more.

Maireas · 17/06/2021 17:53

I've never worn a maxi dress either. They seem a bit impractical and fussy, but they're very popular so we're obviously in the minority.

Heels. Never fancied breaking my ankles. I have EDS.

Eviebeans · 17/06/2021 19:19

Onesie
Crop top
White wedding dress despite having been married twice
Maxi dress

Me neither
Nataliafalka · 17/06/2021 21:46

Tevas or that style of sandal. They are truly hideous

WineGetsMeThroughIt · 17/06/2021 22:00

Shorts (past the age of 12) I hate them on my thunder thighs.

Dungarees. Can't stand the look of these and don't want to look like a toddler

OldTinHat · 17/06/2021 22:10

Hot pants.

SwimBaby · 17/06/2021 22:16

DM’s

AnnieSnap · 18/06/2021 00:15

Dungarees
A tiered dress (I just don’t get that)
Crotchless knickers

AnnieSnap · 18/06/2021 00:16

Ooh yes and a crop top or a onesie

Onlinedilema · 18/06/2021 06:18

A cold shoulder top. Crocs, denim jacket ( not since being a teenager) a thin summer dress with heavy boots and thick tights. A onesie.

Onlinedilema · 18/06/2021 06:20

Oh and a shell suit.

Bluesheep8 · 18/06/2021 11:07

I've never worn a cold shoulder top.

Me neither. Unless the sleeves are very loose, the bits of upper arm showing look like two big potatoes. For this reason I call them potato tops Grin

Vohgue · 18/06/2021 11:16

Why?
This seems like another one of those threads to allow others to be a bit sneery about other people's style choices.

Or it's just people saying what they've never worn?
In some cases they might be saying it because they wish they could, or just because it's not to their taste. Doesn't mean it's a criticism of anyone else imo.

I've not seen any sneering on here. It occurred to me that I've never worn an item of popular clothing. No judgement. I was interested in others' experience. Some people definitely laughing at themselves!!

I should clarify, the bits of MY upper arms showing.
