Does anyone fancy a challenge? I'm a fussy customer 😂 and can't find what I'm looking for jumpsuit wise

• Weight gain has me at a size 18 ish, most weight around stomach but health problems have me very bloated in general so I don't like tight and am very self conscious
• I love black, red, purple, bold pink. No pastels
• 36gg
• I would like full length ( no culottes) wide leg trousers. I love palazzo pants
• I would like it to be removable without another adult being present so no back fastenings or zips to get out of it
• shirred tends to suit me, but bust Always a problem
• sensory issues with clothes, no frills, no frou frou, no off the shoulder.
• nice breathable fabric, cool
• I'm not adverse to patterns. Some flowers are nice, it very much depends
• I'm the kind of person who favours comfort and would buy another in a different colour if I like it. I've just bought 3 identical bras in different colours
• I can't emphasise this enough. I do not follow fashion, never have. I dress my style, alternative, individual, and favour charity shops so I can get unique items *will consider any price up to 150 if its amazing

I've enclosed 3 pictures of ones I like to give an idea of taste. They either have zips or are culotte style.

Would love some ideas if anyone felt the need

Oooo the sugar Hill is fairly nice thank you. Navy would push it down my list a bit.

The next link was nice, but I found this pattern in the same style which I really love! Well done. I'm flicking through next now. The material 95% polyester 5%viscose makes me think I don't know if that's a nice material. I'll have to look at clothes tomorrow. I think I'm scared after reading the popsy dresses thread!

Reaaaaaly like this. Would even consider buying it to try lengthen it with black crochet, although it doesn't look very short.

@Myshitisreal I have a size 18 one of these in my charity shop pile, brand new never worn (I just loved the print so much I wanted to get it altered but never did!) - if you think it could work for you I’d love to post it to you? It does have a back fastening but the neckline is fairly wide so you might be able to just shrug it down.

This one is maybe too short in the leg for you, but I have it and it is super comfy, easy to get on and off and is a flattering fit. I have it in blue but as you can see , it comes in a range of colours and patterns.

@sonjadog I really do like that. it looks like really nice fabric. I've just never thought I suited cropped things like this. I think it comes with trousers always being a bit short somehow, even though I'm not very tall. I just can't be sure. It feels like. I'm wearing things that are too short. You look great in them, I remember you from the plus size threads ♥ 👋

I have several of the Somerset by Alice Temperley jumpsuits from John Lewis. I have a big tummy and they are are very forgiving/flattering

I actually find cropped legs look better on me as a plus size person than a full length leg. The cropped leg seems to make my body look more balanced, while a long leg makes me look equally wide all the way down. If you live somewhere where you can return them for free (I don't live in the UK so have to pay, but maybe you don't if you live there?), I would recommend giving them a chance.

This might not be helpful, but if occurs to me that perhaps the reason you don't like culottes or cropped length things is that you need them turning up?
I find that, as I am not particularly tall, things that are cropped end up an awkward length, looking as if they are supposed to be full-length but are a bit too short. However, if I have them shortened (to mid-calf, or wherever they fall on the model), they look great. I get them shortened by the seamstress at my dry-cleaners, but it is easy to do yourself.
This might mean you have more options to look at. I am bigger and find that cropped is flattering as my ankles are proportionally slim even if the rest of me is not.

Can't thank you all enough. I got a bit carried away looking on next and have finally placed a massive order - retail therapy.

I've been really down in the dumps and think this might just give me a Boost 🤞

I bought 3 jumpsuits, couple of pairs of palazzo pants, couple of shirts, 3 dresses, pair of trainers, trainer socks and got my husband a gift as well 😆

I really loved the hot squash one, and if I knew it was removable without the zip earlier I would have just ordered it. But I assumed the zip means not..i paid it all on card and I just couldn't add another 120quid considering all the other stuff I've bought. I overbought knowing it won't all fit or suit.

So will see how my online shop goes. I really did go a bit mad but it was considered and I can pay it off.

I have a lot of medical problems and on Friday my doctor basically told me the one I was ringing about was made worse by my weight and to lose weight, so I've spent days in tears. I've been so unwell, and been diagnosed with so many problems, that the whole thing is almost comical.

The long and short of it is I bought a load of stuff to try cheer myself up and I very much appreciate all your help. I'll definitely come back.

@Myshitisreal I’m sorry you are feeling so rotten. Long term serious obesity does negatively effect health, but at a size 18, you’re not in that group. Some in the NHS (speaking as a former NHS staff member) always throw the ‘you need to lose weight’! Of course that comment will have made you feel worse. I hope you really like several of the items you ordered. I am always up for links to/photos of jumpsuits. I think I may be developing an addiction to them 😳

Thanks for your kindness. I really loved that red one actually but the high neck makes me look very matronly sadly. I'm between a G and H cup size depending on the bra.
