I know you're supposed to wear one daily and I never do this. Surely they get all oily?

I use the garnier over make up spray. Spf 50 and no issues with going greasy or reapplying.

Lunaballoon · 28/05/2021 07:20

Olay Regenerist SPF 30 Not greasy at all and usually on 2-for-1 offer at Boots and Superdrug.

Neutrogena. I use a 50. It's non greasy.

ZaraW · 28/05/2021 07:41

Ultrasound or Thank you Farmer.

ZaraW · 28/05/2021 07:41

Ultrasun

lightsoutminty · 28/05/2021 07:43

Ultrasun factor 50

kokosm · 28/05/2021 07:52

This from Nivea - used to use Ultrasun but the Nivea one is much cheaper for daily use.

Lavender201 · 28/05/2021 08:06

La roche posay anthelios factor 50

MissyB1 · 28/05/2021 08:12

Number 7 factor 30.

PermanentTemporary · 28/05/2021 08:19

Aldi Lacuna day cream spf 50.

If I'm going to be outside all day I use an invisible spray factor 50.

FreshFaceTime · 28/05/2021 08:33

I use Altruist, Eucerin and Biore watery essence. All fine. I leave as long as I can between applying spf and starting makeup and have recently started wearing primer even if I'm not wearing makeup as I just think my face looks a bit better with it.

I've got Vichy sunscreen next on my list of ones to try and after reading this thread I'm also going to add Nivea and Neutrogena to it.

I tried the LRP one but it made my eyes sting so much! I do also have a LRP spray one for over makeup top ups but haven't really needed that so far this year... Hmm

ElderMillennial · 28/05/2021 08:36

I use Ultra Sun spf 50 but have another set on order from QVC and going to try the spf 30 as the one I've got now can show a white cast if not rubbed in properly

I do like it though

I also have a caudalie one I haven't tried yet, think from TK Maxx

NIVEA SUN UV Face Suncream SPF 50 Shine Control

FrownsAndDimples · 28/05/2021 09:24

LRP Anthelios. Doesn't hurt my eyes. I even use the face fluid on my 2.5 year old in a bind and doesn't hurt her eyes either. The body one used on the face will.

I want to give the Altruist a go as I've heard a few mumsnetters mentioned now. Do you think it will leave a cast in Asian skin? The LRP goes on fine.

La Roche Posay anti-shine spf 50. Sometimes the tinted version too. I have oily skin and this helps to keep the shine away.

FreshFaceTime · 28/05/2021 09:38

I must just be weird then, it's the LRP Anthelios one that stings my eyes. Always gets raved about on here. I really wanted to love it!

Appletreehat · 28/05/2021 09:42

I use the Vichy Ideal Soleil one , and its great, not greasy at all.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/05/2021 09:45

Ultrasun mineral. It’s not tested on animals like some of the brands on this thread and mineral blocks take longer to lose effectiveness.

Shadedog · 28/05/2021 09:47

Biore one from Japan (I buy from Amazon)

ElderMillennial · 28/05/2021 09:59

I just tried the caudalie spf 50 for the first time today (partly prompted by this thread)

It definitely feels a bit more emollient than the ultra sun. I'm not sure I'd say it's greasy but definitely more greasy than the ultra sun

murbblurb · 28/05/2021 10:03

Ambre Solaiee sport or anything else aimed at blokes. Thread on here the other day with someone getting burnt from trusting the ickle cute pots of useless crap sold to women. Admittedly she also thought sunstrength was related to air temperature.

Please could I ask for a link? I picked up a few when on holiday in Asia but I have heard so many are fakes when bought online so steered clear. I would love one for the winter. I feel the ppd won't be enough to ward off melasma for me during the summer.
