Help me wear jeans to my civil partnership!

CP in two weeks. I want to wear converse hightops, jeans and a fitted jacket (preferably leather or faux). I'm size 14, 5'5" so pretty curvy with a lot on the boob side. Thinking maybe good quality white t shirt and silver or gold converse (or other high tops, not wedded [pun intended] to converse) and silver or gold jacket? I'm brunet and suit warm colours - probably have enough of a tan to pull off blush pink too. Thoughts?

Hush have a really nice sequinned blazer at the moment which would look cool with a white t shirt, jeans and converse.

Apparently Arket T-shirts are very good quality. I hope you don’t think I’m being a snob @pennysays but do you want to wear a second hand jacket on such a special day? There are such nice new ones that pp have posted. And the sequinned blazer is beautiful.

They also do a v neck but it's not too low. Nice thick material but flows nicely and not see through.

Alternatively if you go with red you could save loads of money with this!

@Blossomtoes I have no problem with second hand… almost everything I buy is second hand… The converse I got are from eBay! Also the lovely lovely jackets people have posted aren’t available in my size - if I’m after a hot pink leather jacket with a collar which you have all helpfully me refine.

@Blossomtoes no offence taken at all! If any of those lovely new jackets were available then I would have snapped them up! But it’s definitely worth considering second hand stuff you can often end up with such good quality clothes, barely worn, for a fraction of the price.

@Blossomtoes but it also fair to say I am quite a lentil weaver (an amazing phrase that Mumsnet taught me!)

OP in your first posting you said that suited warm colours....

Why are you looking at hot pink and silver ? These are cool colours...

Wardrobe update...

Well I ordered an Arket white t-shirt. The heavy weight one is lovely quality so thank you for that, but I have realised in the mean time that although a high neck tshirt works for some situations (namely not burning in the sunshine!) it is not working with the big boobs and I look like a big square of white. I have panic ordered some white lower neck tops from uniqlo to arrive tomorrow.

The pink jacket from vinted arrived but it is too big! It will be perfect for winter over a jumper but now, it looks too baggy, even over a vest.

The jeans arrived but they're not super skinny and they won't work with converse I think.

And the converse have not arrived yet.

So it's not going.... awesome.

However, the main issue is that it is going to be 20 degrees and raining on Friday... wearing jeans will be hellish.

Randomly, I did buy a sundress with pink flowers on which could be a good option if jeans are too hot. Here it is with the two jackets.

Would work with converse too I think, if they ever arrive. Otherwise mad dash to the local shop for some white pumps I think!

@speckledyhen, you are right, it is a contradiction. Hot pink is my signature colour, but it is not what suits me best. I believe I can pull off cooler colours too though, esp when I have a tan.

What are the jeans, white top and jackets like with the jackets left open? Done up looks a bit stiff against the jeans. I like them better open.

I don't think you look like a big square of white by the way. Classic and elegant were my first thought!

Awww thanks @mollymackandthehat I left them open but they looked a bit weird and shapeless. I am on my period though so not a good time for body image. I’ll try them on again tomorrow and take photos to show you.
