Help me wear jeans to my civil partnership!

CP in two weeks. I want to wear converse hightops, jeans and a fitted jacket (preferably leather or faux). I'm size 14, 5'5" so pretty curvy with a lot on the boob side. Thinking maybe good quality white t shirt and silver or gold converse (or other high tops, not wedded [pun intended] to converse) and silver or gold jacket? I'm brunet and suit warm colours - probably have enough of a tan to pull off blush pink too. Thoughts?

Well now I love the sparkly converse too. And the metallic jacket. (I realise I am zero help here.)
If you are happy and you love what you pick to wear you are going to radiate brilliance anyways

I’m thinking if there’s ever a day to have NO balance and be right out there it’s on your wedding day . So I’d go for the hot pink myself and the silver converse. More of a contrast

Sounds fab to me - I think I’d go hot pink jacket too, and what about customising the converse, you could choose the colours/patterns you like and maybe include your wedding date on the back?

I really like the silver jacket and silver cons! Would look great with blue skinny jeans. And a Breton top.

But don’t listen to me, I’m fairly clueless. If ever I try to glam up, I look more like a man in drag.

Would you consider custom converse? You can get them direct from the manufacturer, choosing colour, stripes, badge colour, eyelet and even with embroidery on the heel (biased because that's what I've done for my upcoming wedding)

I think All Saints are good for quality plain white t shirts OP - expensive for a plain t shirt but very nice quality.

I would do a blush pink like blazer and rose gold

Me too. The silver converse and the (Freemans but who cares) jacket. Would you think about something like this underneath it? Fairly plain but luxe looking, let the jacket and converse do most of the talking with the top and jeans in supporting roles?

Ok I feel like we are really getting somewhere here! Thank you for all you help. You’ve made me realise that I can wear a bold coloured jacket and that’s definitely more my style.

I think we have:

Red jacket and and white heart converse wear

OR

hot pink and silver converse

Either way white T-shirt or that lovely top the @Feedingthebirds1 has suggested.

@MaryTheMiddle I deffo want high tops and my boobs don’t fit in a double breasted but all saints is a good choice for top and jacket
