Help me wear jeans to my civil partnership!

CP in two weeks. I want to wear converse hightops, jeans and a fitted jacket (preferably leather or faux). I'm size 14, 5'5" so pretty curvy with a lot on the boob side. Thinking maybe good quality white t shirt and silver or gold converse (or other high tops, not wedded [pun intended] to converse) and silver or gold jacket? I'm brunet and suit warm colours - probably have enough of a tan to pull off blush pink too. Thoughts?

If blush is out, I'd go hot pink and red hearts, which I think will clash, but in a good way

@NashvilleQueen probably jeans and a long sleeved top in a block colour of some muted variety. Otherwise cargo shorts and a long sleeved top in a muted colour! Nothing that would clash with red or pink.

I like the idea of bright pink and I also like the metallic converse tho I'm probably complicating it now.

I like the idea of hot pink jacket and heart converse. Sorry if complicating! I really like a pink/red clash and you mentioned upthread hot pink being your colour. I love the cut of the nice top but not sure about colours. I'm quite a clashy person so would probably go the coral... Or a lovely white t shirt.

I am totally convinced though that whatever you pick you will look amazing. I don't think you can go wrong with any combination of your choices ❤️

@sunglassesonthetable I saw these too but the one with the collar is out of stock in 14 sadly. The collarless one is so deffo keep that on the list. Thank you for the t-shirt recommendation as well.

It was me. I wasn’t dissing Freeman’s at all, I’ve just bought vastly reduced Birkenstocks from them. But this is S&B and the snobbery here can be ferocious.

Anyway any decisions yet @pennysays? My vote is now for white jeans and T-shirt with the Freeman’s jacket and silver Converse.

My daughter had a fab pink biker jacket from gap. Unfortunately age 2, but I would love one for myself if you find one. It's my best colour someone told me who knew colours.

The converse website can do custom orders, you can get them embroidered with "bride" or "I do", and pick colours of each part

Yes OP, re the custom converse lead time, I just checked, I ordered mine on 21st April and although they were shipped on 29th, they weren't actually delivered til 11th May. So that might be a no-no. Stick with the heart ones!

Right, I've bought the heart converse! They just felt right. I also ordered new blue jeans.

But I'm struggling on the jacket. I love the freeman and tru clothing ones with the collars but both sold out in my size. I'm ending up on the dark side of the web on like random slightly dodgey websites wondering if these jackets are a scam. Anyone found anything golden? I'm after hot pink, with collar preferably and in a 14 or an L.

@Notavegan tell me about it, there are some super cute kids clothes and converse! Don't think I could squeeze into a 2 year old jacket.
