Gym leggings that don't fall down - is there such a thing??

I am sick of buying gym leggings that fall down when I jump around.
I can't afford Sweaty Betty prices.
I'm 5ft 10 and a size 10-12 with a mum belly that wobbles around when the leggings either fall down or roll down...horrid!

I used to have a pair of puma ones for years that fit well but they've fallen to pieces and I can't find a similar pair.

Any brands to recommend?

My eldest got some great exercise leggings from asda with a thick high waist so they’re squat proof- about £12 a pair

I just bought a pair from primark for £10 because I like the design. Didn't expect much. Turned out to be the highest waisted leggings I've ever had with lots of stretch and not see through on the bum. So chuffed for them. But I use them for weights/squats/body pump type activity. Not sure if I'd use them for running due to them being on the thicker side (hence why brilliant for weighted squats) but highly recommend if that's what your after.

I had some primark ones but they went baggy and stretched. SB ones have never done that.

I just run/work out in my riding tights.
They have thigh pockets for phone/keys.
No drawstring but don't fall down if the sizing is right. They do have silicone spots on the knee/seat.
My favourites are Brodelle, you can get an intro 10% off so @£28 inc postage. They come in "normal " sizing, ie 10 or 12 etc, not 10-12, so you can get a better fit.
If you can splash out a bit, Flexars are brilliant, no silicone so look more like leggings, they're about £54, but not great on short legged people like me!
As mentioned above, Decathlon have great affordable leggings.

I wear low waist and I've never had a problem with them falling down.

It's a struggle at the moment to find leggings that don't come up to my armpits.

I wear next leggings and have never had a problem with them falling down as they are high waisted. They come in different lengths and loads of different colours too.

I made the huge error of wearing leggings with the 'breathable mesh' in the crotch area, which unbeknown to me was very see through. My PT was in stitches when she told me! I had been flashing to all the guys in the weights room. Blush

@DaisyPeterson. I've reported that as it looks like spam advertising. See what MN does with it maybe?!

Got a Tikiboo voucher for my birthday and tried them out today. Very impressed. I gambled on sizing going for a small and they stay up well, very comfortable and a better phone pocket than gymshark.

NeverDropYourMoonCup · 08/06/2021 20:10

I just ordered some high waisted ones from amazon. Twenty quid and a 5% voucher.

I probably look a twat, as I suspect they were aimed at your average tik tokker, but they work for me.

I ended up buying a pair from Matalan for £12 which have been brilliant!!
