@OublietteBravo did you and your DH get it? I can’t remember what you said.

We think DH has it (awaiting PCR test result). So far I don’t have any symptoms.

@toastfiend I really love that toast jumpsuit! 😍

Dropped off the thread again, just don’t feel like my outfits are worth the post most days...

Forgot to take a picture before I left the house this morning, so have a lovely staff room picture instead! As it’s the only place with a full length mirror. Scribbled out the notice board as its very outing! It was looking to be nicer day than it is, luckily packed a cardi just in case. Going out for dinner with the girls from work tonight so packed an outfit for later too, that’d be worth a post I suppose, haha!

Saw on another thread I’m apparently highly out of fashion still wearing Ash high tops!

Hate these Tesco jeans they are supposed to be high waisted but always slip down

They still sell these high tops on Ash website so are they really so dated?

I see people in Ash high tops all the time @KiteflyingKat - they still seem very popular.

We have had an outbreak locally of the Indian variant in our area but so far the cases have been mostly in school children or in the unvaccinated group under 35's. Hope your DH is okay @OublietteBravo.

Thank you so much @itssquidstella, I’ve been having a bit of a crisis of confidence with my wardrobe and my style recently so it’s very much appreciated. A bit crumpled again today but ran out of time for a photo before work.

I took a gamble and bought some Levi's on eBay they were £6 so £10 including P&P I think I got myself a bargain! Now I have to decide how to style them I'm catching you up @OublietteBravo & @Sooverthemill I have 4 pairs of jeans now 🤣

Bought a waterproof jacket today... I decided to get a black one that looks fairly smart.
I really needed a lightweight waterproof as I have to walk to work & back.

Also finally had a full head of blonde highlights & a trim.

@LilyLolo81 love the outfit @Tehmina23 I bought a shirt waterproof jacket while out with DH on his birthday. It seemed necessary as my really good one is full length and definitely winter. They last forever so always a good buy

Got to eBay as much as I can over the weekend although DD1 is coming to stay in an Airbnb to sort out wedding stuff. She’s from a high risk area so won’t be sleeping here. She’s not vaccinated and DD hasn’t had her second yet. Can’t risk it

@Sickoffamilydrama thank you very much, although I think I tempted fate with it yesterday as instead of sunny spells we go rain showers instead!

Back to non-summery attire today, head to toe Hobbs (shocker🙄) apart from the jacket, thats Barbour X Liberty. These trainers are so comfortable and I knew today would be a rushing about sort of day. Usual photobomb from crazyspanielcat, starting to look a bit scraggly in her very old age.

Just remembered on the waterproof coat front Collected a parcel from next today, nothing exciting for me just P.E shorts for DD but saw these and both colours are nice and look like good waterproof material.

You all look great. I don’t post on the thread but enjoy seeing what you’re all wearing. You’ve introduced me to Lucy & Yak - very tempted. My measurements look like a size 10 on their site but would you recommend sizing down for a less oversized look? Also can’t decide on leg length - crotch to ankle I’m 29’’ but don’t know whether to go for a 32’’ to allow for shrinkage.

I've been having a little look for a waterproof jacket. I know protected species is a favourite on here but it doesn't have internal pockets and I'm not liking the shape.

The first 2 are rain not sure if they have decent pockets or not I quite like the green colour and the length of the black would be great.

Last on is seasalt I'm not sure on the style of this but good pockets.

Oh they've switched first one is seasalt.

I'm leaning towards a Didriksons DH has a parka and they are great really clever on the details that make a coat more functional and internal pockets. Also like the pleat at the back.

I think the navy colour.... although then keep looking at the longer version they do which is way more expensive argh choices 🤦‍♀️

I like the khaki Didrikson’s. I think khaki goes with so much.

I like the khaki one too, and I agree with @Softpebbles that it’s a good neutral colour for a coat.

Not really sure about today’s outfit. Don’t suppose it matters as I’m not going anywhere.
