It’s Friday, it’s warm, and I only have internal meetings today so a wee Dress Down Day is in order I think. Sundress from the All Saints sale with Terry de Havilland sandals, also in the sale.

My legs look pale in this photo probably because they are, I've used fake tan over the years but really can't be bothered anymore with unrealistic expectations anymore.

That's weird I only saw a couple of posts until after my pictures had posted looking good all, love all the dresses.

@KiteflyingKat I like the trousers but I'm also not sure what footwear. Could you get away with trainers that don't look like trainers? So me&em or similar? Or a chunky sandal? Cropped wide legs are tricky.

@Sooverthemill that dress is absolutely gorgeous. What a great investment. I love it. And hurrah for your DD. I'm glad they got it sorted and a big party to enjoy. That too and jeans combo is fab - you look like a total babe. Get back on a horse! So much fun.

@obliettebravo that is such a nice jumpsuit. You always look great in them, but I think that's my new favourite.

Today once again I wore riding clothes. DD who is famed for mostly taking videos of herself rather than me and photos of fence posts managed one today.

Shorts Tesco, top John Lewis (really annoying as it's ridiculously long), sandals Boden sale - I love them!

@Justonedayatatime11 have you seen my pale legs? your legs are a lovely shape and even if they weren't that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with wearing shorts.

DD whole class has to isolate so doing a garden day today, they are all gutted as Year 6 so this was her last week of primary school.

I'm glad your daughter found a solution @Sooverthemill. When I read your original post I did think that I would just go off and get married quietly in similar circumstances. But she also has a party planned! Sorry for all the stress you have all been through.
Chin up @EllaPaella and hope things improve soon. I also work in healthcare and we are struggling to get on with the work and also not overload ourselves in case some if us have to self isolate.
You look great in those shorts @Justonedayatatime11. I struggle with shorts due to horrible varicose veins.
We had a great day at the beach with my mum, brother and niece yesterday. I've never spent hours on a Scottish beach before wearing just my swimming costume. Dh and I went back to the beach today to make the most of the weather.

Thanks for the shorts love. They stayed on all day and I kept my sunglasses on to avoid the bright white glare from my horrible legs! Everyone looks lovely, isn't it nice to be able to wear summer clothes?!

I’m going out! Still unmarried DD1 is taking me for coffee at 9 before DD wakes up ( in truth she and I had tea at 5.30 am and she’s now fallen back to sleep)
