How many bottles of perfume do you own?

I've just been sorting mine out and it's rather a lot. 78 bottles. I will say (in my poor defence!) that my job means I'm sent quite a bit and well, I've clearly bought quite a lot over the years. There's vintage bottles in there too and discontinued perfumes and remarkably - none have gone off

How about you?

I have 9 and they are all scents I love and are on the expensive side of things - Tom Ford, Le Labo, Creed etc. I have my sights set on getting 3 more over the coming months too.
Some are everyday and and some are special day time and I have 2 evening ones.
I love good perfume and I wear it every day just for my own pleasure

Nearing 50ish...I collected so many as DH was working overseas a lot and that was his go to present from duty free!

I didn't realise 4711 was still sold. I remember my granny using it decades ago. I remember a horrible cheap scent - what's the attraction?

1. I used to have 10s and 10s of them, but over the years, just whittled it down. I have 4 now as I have to have a bottle in certain areas of the house, and wear them depending on where I am when I remember to put it on.

Bathroom - Coco Chanel
Lounge - Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede
Car - Next Eau Nude
Handbag - Next Paradise.

14 - 6 if I don't count the sample bottles.

2 but I don't like one of them - ordered online during lockdown.

One. And when it runs out I'll buy another.

Over 40, at a guess, not including samples.

I also receive bottles of perfume periodically from various subscriptions and crowdfunded scents.

Hmm. I should hang my head in shame 😂

It's a passion of mine (one of many) and I store them in a big 16 drawer chest in a spare room so they stay nice. I have about 9 bottles out and choose from those each day - and then I rotate every few months

Yes, mine also live in a dark drawer. Many years ago I kept a few of them on a glass dressing table tray.

It's quite refreshing as a splash. My husband's Turkish barber uses it. Must be horrible and cheap, though . How fucking rude.

About 4 - 2 of which are the same! I'm so fussy about perfume and more often than not I don't wear it

@snowone I'm the opposite - I'm not fussy at all but I am drawn to unusual scents sometimes.

I currently like Chanel Le lion, Chanel Sycamore, TF Bitter Peach and Jean Charles Brosseau ombré rose

In defence I wear perfume every single day - I feel naked without it

I stopped counting at 150 bottles. It's literally the only vice obsession I have left.

About half a dozen, mostly presents, but if I'm honest I have one absolute (expensive) favourite which is the only one I ever wear.

43, plus a biscuit tin of samples.

Ummm...far too many! In my defence probably half of my collection are cheap/celeb/drugstore type fragrances. Only a few eye wateringly expensive niche fragrances. A lot of designer stuff, but much of it came already part-used from eBay.

I used to be a proper collector, but have weaned myself off that hobby/addiction, and slashed my collection in half through selling it off over the past year. Still running into triple figures though .

I’m not into shoes or handbags or pricy fashion, though, and my make up and toiletries are mostly budget...so perfume is my pleasure.

12 large bottles and quite a few more samples. Plus another half a dozen given to DD when I realise they are too sweet / floral for my taste. I wear it every day, sometimes for bed too. My skin eats scent so it's scattered in bathrooms and bags for reapplication so I may have missed a few.

Hundreds. Perfume is my thing. I don't splurge on bags or shoes, you can keep them, but smelly things...total sucker.
