Sick of drawing in my eyebrows

87 replies

Workyticket · 02/05/2021 20:33

I over plucked in my youth and am missing chunks of eyebrows - they're short by about 1cm both sides (the bits nearest my nose)

I try to draw them in but I'm not great at it. I've literally not plucked for about a year and there's nothing there bar a few stragglers pointing in different directions

I'm wary of tattooing - are there any other options?

I'm slowly but surely trying to aort out my non pampering self. Ive NEVER had anything done to them but am open to salon stuff if I know what to ask for

Your eyebrows are really gorgeous , have you got a 'before' photo by chance ?

And can you PM the details of your Brow Artist ( its my neck of the woods )

I'd absolutely love microblading, just need to save up!

Rapid Brow is great but you do have to keep using it forever basically, as otherwise they will thin out again.

@mrsjackrussell

These are tattooed brows from my lady.
Lovely 😻😻😻

I too would love to try microblading as I too over plucked in the 90's. I'm just wondering if I can have that done, as I'm on Warfarin ( a blood thinner)?? I used to have big bushy brows as a teenager.....O to have that problem now. They are very narrow but hair is long. I haven't plucked in years but still sparse.
If you have to be constantly on them then possibly not as it can affect healing. If your dr okays you to come off them for a couple of days before and after then yeah go for it

@Daisy62

If you have microblading, can you still regularly dye them at home? I would like mine microbladed, to be fuller (over-plucked, back in the day). But I have got some white hairs which would still be there - at the moment I dye my brows every few weeks which works well. Could I still do this if they were microbladed?
Yes you absolutely can 💯

You'd need to avoid it for about 2 weeks after though

@70isaLimitNotaTarget pmd you

GrrrlPwr · 11/12/2021 22:51

Another for Essex/ London please. I'm getting patchy eyebrows. Which is noticeable as they are very dark. I'm painting them in every bloody day. Luckily big brows are in and there's lots of eyebrow solutions out there. But getting a bit fed up.

Can you use emla cream before the microblading? Else it must hurt alot

ILoveHuskies · 11/12/2021 23:23

@GrrrlPwr yes you can and it will help

But your artist can also use a numbing gel throughout as well

My clients generally don't feel anything

Daisy62 · 12/12/2021 16:15

Thanks for replying Ilovehuskies, good to know I can still dye the white hairs if I have microblading.

AnSionnachGlic · 12/12/2021 16:43

Thanks for your reply Ilovehuskies. Don't think my doctor will allow me come off warfarin for few days, so will probably have to look at another option.
