Sick of drawing in my eyebrows

Workyticket · 02/05/2021 20:33

I over plucked in my youth and am missing chunks of eyebrows - they're short by about 1cm both sides (the bits nearest my nose)

I try to draw them in but I'm not great at it. I've literally not plucked for about a year and there's nothing there bar a few stragglers pointing in different directions

I'm wary of tattooing - are there any other options?

I'm slowly but surely trying to aort out my non pampering self. Ive NEVER had anything done to them but am open to salon stuff if I know what to ask for

If it's possible for them to grow back RapidBrow will do it.

@YuleHaveAWonderfulChristmas

Microblading is amazing! It's made such a difference to my face and saves time ! My before and straight after.
Lovely and natural 😍 love them
glasshalfsomething · 06/12/2021 21:51

💯 micro blading. Best money I’ve ever spent

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/12/2021 21:59

I was guilty in the late 80s of butcherung my eyebrows into the fashionable 'tadpole' shape , then the angular arch look
As a result my brows have point blank refused to make any effort to grow No , you'll just be there with the Tweezermans again

I did consider Microblading but with Lockdown and the ££ , I bought Revitabrow which was brilliant . I had eyebrows Grin
But it's an ongoing thing .
UK Brow (cheaper ) less effective .
I need to get back into the Revitabrow .
(I'll see if theres a photo of them )

If you have gaps in them then microblading is the perfect solution. I used to have it done and it did not hurt and the results were fab. I would do it again if I could afford it.

I don't have patches but since going grey I have white eyebrows in amongst the rest so I dye them and pencil in. If I had gaps or patches I would find the money for microblading :)

FanGirlX · 06/12/2021 22:02

I've been growing mine since Jan, just tidying up around the edges. They are still a bit patchy though. Might give some of these a go.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/12/2021 22:07

I have two photos - this took about 3 months or so , but nothing more effort involving than paintig them each night and a dose of Revolution dye ( the paint on /peel off one )

Photo 1 - my shabby sad brows
Photo 2 -my slightly more with-it brows

No needles or sharp things

Nothing to add but had to say @QueenPaw your eyes are beautiful ❤️

annlee3817 · 07/12/2021 07:40

I had mine microbladed, best thing I've ever done, has stopped me from over plucking and now have natural growth over the top of the blading. Picture is before, then after with the microblading, to now a year later.

Reading with interest. I've never been a plucker but my eyebrows are sparse and weirdly , the left eyebrow is more gappy than the right.
I currently brush powder on but it does get tiresome.

ILoveHuskies · 09/12/2021 18:21

@Monolithique it is honestly a game changer! Do it, you will not regret it. But please research your artist carefully. Feel free to ask me any questions (as mentioned, I am a PMU artist myself). I can also, if you wanted, recommend artists local to you, as I am a member of an association for accredited practitioners.

ILoveHuskies · 09/12/2021 18:22

@annlee3817 they look fab! Also, you have lovely eyes!

Nemorth · 09/12/2021 18:28

I recently had my eyebrows micro bladed. I'm so fair I'm like the Mona Lisa...no visible eyebrows.

Fed up getting them tinted.

I LOVE MY EYEBROWS NOW. The look so fab.

Photo is before and immediately after. That was a few weeks ago. I've had the top up and honestly. I just love them so much.

They are stunning, they look so natural. I love doing microblading.

EddieVeddersfoxymop · 09/12/2021 18:52

See a brow specialist! My brow lady somehow manages to produce full, fluffy brows from nothing

ScreamingMeMe · 09/12/2021 20:00

People who dye their eyebrows

Do you use a special dye, or would hair dye do?

annlee3817 · 09/12/2021 20:43

@ILoveHuskies thank you 😊

VelvetSpoon · 09/12/2021 20:54

I have odd eyebrows, naturally they are fairly sparse even though I'm darkish haired (well I was before the grey set in..) and even back in my teens they never had any kind of shape. I blame my dad, his eyebrows were the same. I pluck mine for a bit of shape, my DP always says the reason I have ' no eyebrows' is because of plucking them but really it isn't, I could stop for years and they'd still be odd looking little things.

I've been pencilling them in for 30 years now. I have been thinking about microblading for the last couple, but I am deep in the heart of Sharpie/ Nike tick brow land here where most girls under 25 have thick jet black brows! Which is somewhat off-putting Grin

Lndnmummy · 09/12/2021 21:33

Could any of you lovely ladies recommend
Someone in London or Birmingham? I want really natural looking ones like @QueenPaw on page 1Smile

Daisy62 · 10/12/2021 17:45

If you have microblading, can you still regularly dye them at home? I would like mine microbladed, to be fuller (over-plucked, back in the day). But I have got some white hairs which would still be there - at the moment I dye my brows every few weeks which works well. Could I still do this if they were microbladed?

AnSionnachGlic · 10/12/2021 18:06

I too would love to try microblading as I too over plucked in the 90's. I'm just wondering if I can have that done, as I'm on Warfarin ( a blood thinner)?? I used to have big bushy brows as a teenager.....O to have that problem now. They are very narrow but hair is long. I haven't plucked in years but still sparse.

@HandforthParishCouncilClerk

Rapid BROW - wtf is up with my phone tonight!
I've been using this for about 2 - 3 months regularly and the difference is amazing !
YuleHaveAWonderfulChristmas · 11/12/2021 12:31

@Lndnmummy I could recommend someone just outside North London

mrsjackrussell · 11/12/2021 12:51

@Lndnmummy I have mine done by someone fabulous in Essex/London

mrsjackrussell · 11/12/2021 12:54
