So - Lilibet Diana, Archie's sister, born on Friday. Happy news!

Oh wow! Well they've certainly gone Royal with that one! Great news!

KillingMeDeftly · 06/06/2021 17:27

Ah that's lovely news, and Lili is a nice nickname.

Hope they've got their Teflon overcoats on for choosing that name!

Maireas · 06/06/2021 17:29

It's the 11th great grandchild for Big Lilibet. By the autumn she'll have 12!

Lovely news. Welcome to the world, Lili!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 06/06/2021 19:03

Lovely news & hope Mum & baby Lili are doing well.
I bet no one saw 'Lilibet' coming.
I wonder when Lili is a stroppy teenager she'll ignore anyone who calls her Lili & demand to be called Betty or Bet 😊

Eaumyword · 06/06/2021 20:10

Jetsun's tiara is beautiful, looks like jade? She looks stunning in that picture.
Interesting choice of names. Good that they are both well and healthy.

frugalkitty · 06/06/2021 20:30

I like Lili, really don't like Lilibet, poor girl. Building bridges perhaps? Nice news though, everyone likes a newborn.

MotherofPearl · 07/06/2021 00:10

Yes lovely news about the new baby. I'm not crazy about the name but obviously it's their choice.

I love that photo of Queen Jetsun; she always looks stunning, and it's a treat to see a tiara, that's for sure!

mathanxiety · 07/06/2021 04:58

Wonderful news.
'Archie and Lili' is a lovely sibling name combination.
I wonder will Lilibet end up enjoying a little popularity in the baby name lists as a result of this.

KillingMeDeftly · 07/06/2021 06:29

I don't particularly care for Lilibet - nothing to do with the Queen, just don't like it as a name. But clearly H&M do so what I think doesn't matter! And if she's going to be called Lili then that's much prettier.

Arch n' Lil sound like a pair of 1940s sleuths!

Spudlet · 07/06/2021 08:07

Archie and Lili are definitely to be found wearing tweed (including hats) and solving crimes from a motorbike and sidecar Grin

Horsemad · 07/06/2021 09:56

🤣🤣🤣

Not particularly keen on Lilibet but it's their choice.
Wonder if we'll see a pic anytime soon?

LarsErickssong · 07/06/2021 10:04

Lovely news for H&M.

I'm not keen on Lilibet and I don't normally like alternative spellings to names but I do really like Lili and it goes well with Archie.

SenecaFallsRedux · 07/06/2021 15:36

I have strong positive associations in my family with both names, although the Archie was actually Archibald and often called "Arch" and the Lili spells it Lily.

I love Spudlet's image of the sleuths in tweeds.

MotherofPearl · 07/06/2021 18:26

Stephanie in a Boden dress! I bought this dress a few months ago but decided that it didn't suit me so returned it. I'm not sure it suits Stephanie either, but I love the nautical vibe, which is probably what drew me to the dress to begin with!

Maireas · 07/06/2021 18:56

I quite like the nautical vibe - is she visiting a royal dockyard and gone all Kate-Literal on us?

StartupRepair · 07/06/2021 21:38

I like how Stephanie has a relatable body shape and does not always get it right.

KillingMeDeftly · 09/06/2021 20:44

CPV and Daniel have been out with Estelle, who really does come across as a little star.

And Marie of Denmark is wearing a very deceptive dress. I did a double take as I thought she'd been on some sort of extreme diet!

That dress of Marie's gave me a bit of a start at first too!

MotherofPearl · 09/06/2021 21:35

I'm not keen on this pale blue dress of Camilla's. I can't quite pinpoint why. Maybe it's too plain, or just that that shape/cut is getting a bit repetitive?

This pink Hugo Boss dress of Leti's reminds me of Meghan's pom-pom dress!

frugalkitty · 09/06/2021 21:44

Leti's got the wrong shoes on for that dress. But, the Pom Pom dress! I love it!

TriSarahTops · 09/06/2021 21:51

I think the problem with Camilla’s dress is that it’s face mask blue. Which makes you think of clinical garments (like scrubs) irrespective of the cut.

MotherofPearl · 09/06/2021 22:09

Yes! 'Face mask blue' is exactly right!

KillingMeDeftly · 09/06/2021 22:17

Camilla looks like she's about to scrub in for surgery.
