Wow, Diana's wedding dress is going on display next month!

Literally just bought tickets!

That wedding was 41 years ago. Incredible.

41 years!! And to think Charles has now been married to Camilla for longer than he was to Diana

Gosh is it really that long? My dad took me and my brother to watch the fireworks the night before in London - we were so excited and it was fantastic!

It’s such a cultural moment. I wasn’t born and yet I’ve seen footage of that day or read so much about it I feel as though I was. maybe time to step away from the internet

People were dancing in the street, there was no trouble. It was a hot night and the pavements were busy by 11pm.

I was only little and we were living in a hotel at the time but I remember watching it on TV in our room.

Maxima is 50 today! The Dutch royal Instagram has shared some new photos of her. Only she could carry off that giant cowl next. Anyone else would be completely overwhelmed by it.

Norwegian constitution day and all the royal ladies are in traditional dress. Sverre Magnus looking as impressed as only a 15 year old can.

He really does look like a small middle-aged man. And clearly refused to wear national dress for the occasion, judging by some of the other photos!

The dress is in the same style as many of her other dresses. It's fine but I think she has more flattering outfits. I see she's still sticking with her trusty boots. I include a close-up of the coveted handbag to torment @SenecaFallsRedux!

It's a good colour but I'm sure she wore another similar dark green outfit recently that looked better. Might even have been the same one but styled differently?
