Hairdresser has offered to tone it down the darker highlights are from a few years ago the lighter is how I had it done yesterday- I asked for it to look like the older picture.
I called up today and asked for them to do it again...

As is vitamin E dry oil, leave it on overnight and wash out the next day for nice soft hair.

Sportysporty · 17/04/2021 19:34

@HousewifeNumber10 i love mine - they are very underused in my opinion by hairdressers in general

Girlintheframe · 17/04/2021 19:38

Love the lighter hair.

HousewifeNumber10 · 17/04/2021 19:49

@Sportysporty I need my hair cut by a hairdresser because doesn't it grow at different rates. Split end trimmer just stops it breaking off!

Your hair looks great.

purplecorkheart · 17/04/2021 20:05

I much prefer the lighter colour. I think the old colour is too warm for your skin tone.

Firsttimegreyhoundmum · 17/04/2021 20:06

Yours looks better. I like it.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 17/04/2021 20:10

Your hair is fine.
I think your real issue lies with your Makeup Consultant who seems to have used a rather broad tipped marker pen, on a number of occasions.

Sportysporty · 17/04/2021 21:05

@HousewifeNumber10 yeh they aren't for taking length off just a few mm of the 'frizz' that split ends cause - they smooth hair - I use mine loads especially when taking photos of finished balayage or similar.

I prefer it lighter!

blisstwins · 18/04/2021 14:51

They did a beautiful job. The lighter color is perfect. They could warm it up with a toner, but I agree you should leave it

AustinAggro · 18/04/2021 15:12

Agree lighter looks better.
first picture is quite brassy.

HousewifeNumber10 · 22/04/2021 18:40

But my roots look like this now! I'm really unhappy...

Is your hair wet in this picture?

HousewifeNumber10 · 22/04/2021 18:44

cock - no!

Cocksinsocks · 22/04/2021 18:46

Need a wash? Cause yes it looks ropey here but looks lovely in earlier pic

HousewifeNumber10 · 22/04/2021 18:47

The ends still look nice and blended cock if a little dry -the roots don't. I wish I had left it now! Seven months and I could have left it really. It didn't look terrible...

The first colour looks like a mid auburn.
The new colour is ash blonde.

Is this what you wanted and if not, why has she done it that way?

It's very different.

Both look good but without being able to see your face it's hard to judge which suits you.

Blondiney · 22/04/2021 20:23

Ashy blonde always looks grey to my eyes but it's a very 'in' look currently. More modern than your before colour but the slightly warmer tones are often kinder to the complexion.

BurbageBrook · 22/04/2021 20:25

Lighter looks way better!

Skedall · 22/04/2021 20:57

Lighter looks much better
