How long has everyone got to go before their hairdressers appointment?

Mine is on the 1st May as my hairdresser was very fair and phoned everyone in the order they had their previous appointments booked in. My hair is atrocious but I keep telling myself 3 more weeks!

I would quite like a change of style as so much of it feel out due to lockdown stress last year so I'm telling myself 3 weeks of extra hair growth gives them a bit more to play with. When are your appointments and what are you having done?

It was 6 days away but now having to self isolate so 5 weeks! 😭

I'm in NI. We don't even have a date for hairdressers being able to open yet! Rumoured to be 26 April, so some time after that.

11days, 1 hour and 36 minutes. Not that I’m counting or anything.

I don’t have one yet! We moved in November so I need to find a new salon. And I’ll have to have the colour patch test done. I have a seen a salon that looks good so I’ll ring tomorrow and see if they have any appointments any time soon and at least arrange to have the patch test done.

Also desperate to book a pedicure and to get my eye brows tinted. And a facial. And wax.

I'm too nervous to book an appointment yet. As soon as I have a date to have my first first vaccine I will be booking one for two weeks later!

One week, can’t come soon enough. I’m ok with cutting hair myself, but not my own, so have done some immediate family a few times during lockdown looking forward to my cut & colour next week.

4th May, having last been cut in October. But I'm in no rush, it's gone past the out of shape stage (was shoulder length now about 3" below) and has settled down really nicely again, I've decided to let it grow a bit more. No split ends or roots as I don't heat style or colour it.

26 April and can’t wait. Want to hide on Zoom, everyone else seems to have managed their hair much better. Also use a headset and finding it hard to hear.

This Thursday, but I always book months in advance, so this was booked in November! Am having colour, highlights, trim and curly blow dry! I really cannot wait - the nearly 2 inches of grey/white roots are not a good look! I feel and look OLD!

Week on Thursday. The hair is wild, badly coloured and now waist length. I need a few hours to rescue it.

10 days and counting... I cannot wait to get rid of my awful greys and roots!

I've booked with a new hairdressers though so I'm a little nervous as I don't have any experience of how good they are.

The last one kept not doing what I wanted though so I've had to give up and try somewhere new.

19th April. Desperately need my split ends chopping. I've doe a bit myself but want my fringe back.

Approximately 15 h and I cannot wait.

Tuesday afternoon. Cant wait

Just over 48 hours to go now. I can’t wait as I have given up now and just tie it up and spray the roots if I have to do a zoom call. It looks so bad.

15th May and I’m desperate.

Friday! I’ve not bend the salon in well over a year, my mums cleaner who is also a mobile hair dresser gave my a trim after lockdown 1 but it was just a trim the ends type of thing
I’ll get a colour in a few weeks. My roots are by my ears, I don’t think I can pass it off as balayage any more 😂

Next Friday. Had to cancel last week as DD was poorly. Absolutely gutted. Want something different but don't know what to have! What are you all having?

Mine is 23d April, could have had earlier appointment but we are on holiday in caravan until then, I shall look like Worzel Gummage all holiday.

23 hours! Over an inch of grey roots (Brillo pad grey not a nice grey). But I have looked after it this lockdown not like last time when I ruined it, have paid out a small fortune to Olaplex ever since!

Friday and can't wait!

5 days .I have morphed into Gail on Coronation Street .

17.5 hours. I can only hope to channel Gail from Coronation Street; currently more like Olive from On the Buses...

10 days! Cannot wait!

My cut actually looks good now my hair is quite long but my highlights are now about 10 inches grown out so my poor hairdresser is going to have a job to sort that

8 days. I look like the beatles in the 60s including the moustache. Thankfully that's going tomorrow.
