Still love my Salties. So very very comfortable.

I want some red ones, but can't find what I want anywhere. Need them to have more cushioning than Saltwaters.

LysistrataVickers · 21/03/2021 09:24

I've just bought these. Not worn them yet obviously but the leather is lovely and soft.

If only they were not so flat, Vickers. They're really cute.

Jjjjjj1981 · 21/03/2021 09:35

I’m very close to buying these, hovering over loving them and thinking they’re a bit tragic.

Salanda · 21/03/2021 09:49

I really need some summery shoes that have closed toes (running long distances has given me a black toenail which won’t grow out in time for summer Blush) if anyone has seen any! Grin

Jjjjjj1981 · 21/03/2021 10:06

Get your toes painted @Salanda? Gel polish lasts absolutely ages

Salanda · 21/03/2021 10:18

@Jjjjjj1981

Get your toes painted *@Salanda*? Gel polish lasts absolutely ages
Won’t disguise it I’m afraid as the nail will eventually drop off Sad

@Salanda I agree with @keeponkeepinon about these, I usually buy solillas but they are all similar, and very comfy!
@Jjjjjj1981 why are they tragic? I’ve just bought some DM Blaires and I love them.

Namechange2790 · 21/03/2021 15:12

If money was no issue I’d buy these www.gina.com/en/lexi/beige-chic

Otherwise rose gold salt waters

MaryLennoxsScowl · 21/03/2021 15:16

Oh @SpeckledyHen those are beautiful - so beautiful that I considered splurging. And then I looked at the price. That’s not a splurge, that’s insane! If anyone finds any like that but under £100 I will be forever grateful!

StepOutOfLine · 21/03/2021 15:25

@Salanda
I have big toenails that would make children scream, and I like the Seasalt espadrilles, the Menorcan ones mentioned upthread, though I like a wedge (Ria are my favourites) and Fitflop did a nice closed toe a couple of years ago, but last year's were frumpy.
I'd love tiny dainty tanned feet so I could have strappy loveliness but it's not going to happen!

I agree Mary . I’d never pay that for a pair of sandals , but would love something similar but cheaper.

What is the cushioning like? I love lots of Seasalt stuff, but my feet need good cushioning!
Loopyloututu2 · 21/03/2021 20:54

Ive just bought the DM Blair’s - I may end up giving them to dd though - not sure if I’ve got the guts to wear them! I’ve got size 7 feet and not sure if they just look ugly 😂

EraOfTheGrey · 21/03/2021 21:00

I have these and they are so comfortable and bouncy. I usually spend summer in Birkenstocks but bought these last year for a change.

Rina66 · 21/03/2021 21:02

I’ve got these from New Look, so comfortable, very padded and not totally flat - that just gives me back ache. I’m definitely keeping the white, as they are more stone, actually a really nice colour, but I’m torn between the sage and the black?

Following for all these suggestions, I usually like dainty tan leather sandals as I have neat and thin feet but quite chunky legs so I find chunky sandals just make my legs look bigger and my feet look like i'm wearing someone else's shoes. However I have absolutely buggered my shin and walking in completely flat sandals is impossible.
I was thinking birkenstocks for the arch support but would appreciate any other suggestions of sandals with a bit of support and cushioning

VallarMorghulis · 22/03/2021 08:53

I have no suggestions but I will be following this thread with great interest. I've been looking in vain for the perfect sandals for years.

My holy grail: not black, with good arch support, and some kind of heel or ankle strap. And not too expensive! I really like the ones in the OP but the price...

I want to like the seasalt ones but they look too flat. I like the DMs (I live in DM boots in winter) but they only come in black.

DottyP · 22/03/2021 08:55

I’ve just bought DM Clarissa’s. Can’t wait to wear them! ://www.drmartens.com/uk/en_gb/p/womens-sandals-milled-nappa-clarissa-ii-quad-platform

Procrastatron · 22/03/2021 09:02

@VallarMorghulis the DM Blaires come with a white upper... but no ankle strap.

Salanda · 22/03/2021 09:41

@keeponkeepinon @Procrastatron @StepOutOfLine thank you - good ideas, I’m just having a browse of those brands now, which look promising! It’s so annoying that toenails take so long to grow out!

goose1964 · 22/03/2021 10:44

I love these but I have a high instep so not sure if they'd fit, and wide too.
