Why dont they make sandals like this for adults?

I know they're not going to win any style prizes but they're similar to a lot of designs for women except they have straps to keep them on your feet. I can't be doing with mules/flip flops. It feels like another conspiracy to slow women down. You can't run properly in flip flops and they dont seem to put proper straps on women's sandals.

You can get lots of sandals like this for grown ups! For eg I wear salt water sandals and they look a lot like this

Yep, saltwater sandals are pretty much these sandals! In lots of amazing colours too. I have a few pairs, don't really wear any others now.

They're not the same though are they Chemenger, they only put straps on the most ugly styles.

Birkenstock Tulum and Rio are both pleasant imo. "Ugliest styles" is a bit of a moot point with Birkies, though I do love the feel of them!
I, weirdly, can also buy child sizes in them as the 39 size is the top children's one, which fits my size 6.5 feet.

About 85% of all Birkenstocks are hideous, to my taste, so I don't feel I can be a judge of that for anyone else.

Moshulu do sandals very, very similar to these. I find a cork sole uncomfortable so I wear their Wasabi sandals every year (buy two pairs and wear them to death) and I think the quality is excellent.

I got some similar couple
Years ago from
Primark - they did only last a year and then snapped but they were only cheap! I loved them!
