Beauty chat - freebies/gifts with purchase/offers

I just wondered if anyone would be interested in discussing the beauty gifts with purchase/offers which come about on Cult Beauty, Space NK and the like every few months. I loved the advent calendar threads and thought this might be similar. If there's already a threat on this apologies & I'd appreciate the link! As you can tell I'm a little addicted and find them hard to resist and would love to compare with like minded pp. We could even do swaps if pp want.
I just cracked and bought the recent Cult Beauty 'Self Care' goodie bag - couldn't resist the name as I'm in desperate need of some self care after a rough few months (isn't everyone?!). I haven't opened it yet as haven't had the time with a 6 month old - but can't wait to have a peak. I also forgot what I bought for the £170 required purchase. But think I snuck in a few bit of makeup which isn't like me as I stick to my favourite makeup and usually just buy skincare and body stuff. Anyone else purchase it? What did you think? Be great to get notifications when other sites/retailers have good offers to!

@ajandjjmum I ‘discovered’ Davines through a Liberty advent calendar. Love to indulge every now and then even if it is spendy for a fairly small quantity - I could even use by Liberty beauty credit, mentioned in the posts above, to keep a regular supply coming in 😊

Interesting re: Liberty. I filled out a survey ages ago for them about a subscription service that sounds like that - but they've not emailed me about it! Grr.

Yes, despite being on their regular "insider" survey list, I must just not spend enough there to get the super-special emails!!

They did send me a random £15 voucher a week or so ago, though. Maybe if I spend that then they will bump me up their email list

Ps Boots is doing a free 20ml Estée Lauder ANR with purchase of a 50ml bottle pretty good especially if you have points to use

I definitely think I’ll sign up to the Liberty beauty subscription now I’ve read more about it. I could use a good chunk of the credit for gifts which would make it more worth it/slightly less self-indulgent!

Regarding the beauty box, the FAQ says: Receive a free beauty box every three months with must-try product and worth over £300 a year so it sounds like all four boxes have a combined price of £300, which makes me think the products will be quite mini.

It also says the first box will be delivered mid-October so we should get a chance to sign up properly quite soon!

If you can use the credit you build up when there is a sale or a GWP then I'll probably sign up

Or if you can put the credit towards the Liberty Advent Calendar.

My CB hair care freebies have arrived. Really impressed with the sizes and the way the goodies are a great fit for the bag. I’m not unpacking this as I’m sending straight on to dd and I’ll never get it all back in so neatly 😂

Glad to hear! Mine arrived today too, but DD is going to pack an old advent calendar for me with these and another GWP, so I'm not going to peak.

Glad the CB hair stuff is nice - it looked a good one. I wonder if the gwp will stop now in the lead up to Christmas/advent calendar season and then resume around feb? I'm really on the fence about all the advents - not sure I'm keen on any. Except for Jo Loves, but cannot justify that!!

Last year Space NK and Cult Beauty both did one at the end of October and Liberty had one at the beginning of December so I think we’ve got more to come

This was an error. Some poor bod must be sweating buckets right now. But I'll bet this offer will be along soon. I think someone on the other thread said it worked last year for the advent calendar. Unlike other sites who don't offer promotions on theirs.

I signed up this morning too. It would be a great way to save up for next year's Liberty AC.
