Beauty chat - freebies/gifts with purchase/offers

I just wondered if anyone would be interested in discussing the beauty gifts with purchase/offers which come about on Cult Beauty, Space NK and the like every few months. I loved the advent calendar threads and thought this might be similar. If there's already a threat on this apologies & I'd appreciate the link! As you can tell I'm a little addicted and find them hard to resist and would love to compare with like minded pp. We could even do swaps if pp want.
I just cracked and bought the recent Cult Beauty 'Self Care' goodie bag - couldn't resist the name as I'm in desperate need of some self care after a rough few months (isn't everyone?!). I haven't opened it yet as haven't had the time with a 6 month old - but can't wait to have a peak. I also forgot what I bought for the £170 required purchase. But think I snuck in a few bit of makeup which isn't like me as I stick to my favourite makeup and usually just buy skincare and body stuff. Anyone else purchase it? What did you think? Be great to get notifications when other sites/retailers have good offers to!

A decent electric toothbrush will cost more than £20 though so you may as well use the points for something else!

Yes Boots has lots of brands these days that it didn't sell before.

@Luvacuppatea Did you receive all your Penhaligon orders yet. Mine is still pending when I look at my credit card online. Wonder if there's been an error. I ordered on Monday.

Yes, @LizzieMacQueen - I’ve had all three of my orders now. Ordered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday last week, received Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, I think the delays might have got a bit longer now - someone on a Penhaligon’s Facebook page posted an ‘apology for delay’ email she’d received from them. I think they are just overwhelmed with orders. Fingers crossed yours comes soon 🤞

I haven't had my penhaglions order either but it does say on the website to expect delays.
I thought I was getting them a few days ago but no, it was saltwater sandals I ordered also because of MN lol

@LizzieMacQueen I ordered Penhaligon's last Sunday and it will be delivered on Monday.

@Housewife2010 can I ask, when did you receive an email confirming it was being delivered?

@LizzieMacQueen Last night I got the email that DPD would deliver on Monday. I ordered the day before you so I wouldn't worry. You'll probably get an email on Monday.

I am trying not to spend any more this month as we have home improvement expenses to pay so let's see his that goes!

I won't buy from Look fantastic again after it took me two months of complaining to get a refund on a smashed palette last year.

Talking of advent calendars.... I've signed up to the Cult Beauty advent calendar wait list. Hoping it's as good as last year's. It'll be nice having this to look forward to with all the crap covid news swirling about.

For a load of boring covid related reasons I still have a Space NK advent calendar waiting to be opened. I decided to wait until my birthday month to open it - not long to go now - am excited!!!

I check regularly the beautyadventcalendar website as she posts about gwps and advent calendars (funnily enough) and I followed a link on there.

I know @LizzieMacQueen ... it helps that I don't physically have it in my possession- have left it at my parents house
Just had an email from CB about a 'Skindie' GWP - £70 spend and worth £105 - so not as ££ as usual ..
May go for it as I need some St Tropez

@Giftwithpurchase, the Cult Beauty SKINDIE GWP looks interesting, but qualifying spend must be skincare only (not make up or fragrance). I really can’t justify any more skincare spend, so giving it a miss.

My Penhaligons order arrived yesterday, pleased with it!

Just been having a play with the CB gift to see what combo will add the gift to my basket. There's a lot of random stuff included within the 'skincare' which applies towards it - like the slip silk pillow case, most lip balms and St Tropez for face. Oh and some vitamins

I got my penhaligo's orders. Delighted with my gifts (for me!).

Hi everyone .. I'm getting so many emails from CB & Space NK atm - the CB sale is on but a lot of it is Becca! I went to TK max yesterday and picked up quite a bit of Becca and By Terry for ridiculous prices. I also bought Laneirge and Alpha H.
There's also 20% off makeup at CB.
@LizzieMacQueen I always forget about Harvey Nichols - no idea why as they have amazing brands!

Does anyone have any idea when the next Space NK GWP might be? I got the March one and am starting to run low on quite a few bits but don't want to buy if they'll do a gift soon!

I think there's a chance one will be soon as they are announcing the last 24hrs of discounts ..... that seems to be the pattern. Sale followed by new stock plus gifts.

Harvey Nichols have a gwp with min spend of £125. I can't see what's included, Summerbody it's called so I guess body products, maybe tanning things.

I ordered some shampoos and conditioner and a Jo Malone for a friend. Reached the £125 a bit too easily 😊
