SO the last 'edition' took over a year to complete. Must try harder Voguettes. Despite the fact that we are still in lockdown, and rarely out of loungewear, there is still inspiration to be found. Spring is springing, brighter days are on the horizon and homeschooling CANNOT last forever (not if miniShop wants to live anyway).

@MarshaBradyo I had to send it to my email then copy the link, couldn’t copy it directly but I don’t use the mn app, maybe you can if so 🤷‍♀️. Shop will know! I really like the green bag btw, can see you with it. Also really like your APC from dh, is not a wow bag but elevates the day to day, chic et décontracté as they say! (means literally relaxed chic, elegant but comfortable in your skin, opposite of stuffy).

bag. It was in the new in in John Lewis and only one left in stock so I kind of had to panic buy. I absolutely love it and had been looking at them on the long champ website a while ago. I’m just not sure about the cost. I’ll just see how I feel about it when it arrives.

marsha I love green accessories but that shade looks tricky. I love the overall outfit vibe though - very spring like and modern.

My last few purchases have all been from second hand shops! Great recycle places in my new city.

I'm liking the colourful bags. I've barely used a bag for so long, it's hard to imagine them again.

No fashion news here, I think trousers are the big space in my wardrobe that needs filling but not sure what style. I'm also tempted by the Reebok trainers that Mara linked, my Stan's are battered and could do with replacing.

If anyone needs some beauty stuff though, Space NK have got a GWP for £175 spend. Looks like there are some pretty good bits in it.

How's everyone feeling about the schools going back? I thought it would be a relief, but it felt so quiet at home today. I really missed them. Still great for them to be with their friends, fingers crossed we're over the worst.

MiniShop really needed to be back with other kids - but I’m still not sure we’re out of the woods yet. Especially when the majority of parents I know haven’t been vaccinated yet. I spent the day obsessively cleaning to rid the playroom of all traces of home schooling.
But I’m so frustrated now, everything is getting on my nerves. DH is constantly in the way, I just feel the need to escape but there’s nowhere we can escape to. Still not sure I trust that things will open up. Hope they do.
And yes, the thought of ever carrying a handbag again seems beyond weird.

Just middle Ds back today to primary. Dd here today and tomorrow and teen in tomorrow.

It was a nice day as youngest and oldest did a fair bit together which was sweet.

Still feels strange though with so much shut. I really need a haircut. I’m glad they’re back, I can see them perking up by virtue of being back with friends and getting away from screen learning.

Mara thanks I love that re dh pressie. It suits my down key vibe atm. Did you get the Gucci slides? I’m eyeing up some white shoes not sure if that wise for me given dd ability to stand on feet.

My dc are all back and so far so good. Dd2 was v anxious about going back. She’s been in continuously as a keyworker child and is used to the small groups.

I know what you mean shop about handbags. I haven’t used one for a while but I don’t tend to as much in the winter as I just use my coat pockets. Come spring/summer I use one. I’ve also got to the point where I need to carry my glasses around with me. I can’t wear them all the time as I find them disorientating walking long distances but I’m finding I do need them once I get to a shop.

marsha if you don’t think cpw would be good then don’t get it

I decided to send the other stories blouse back. I love it but I just have so many other blouses and Ive got really into dresses over lockdown that I just can’t imagine wearing it enough to justify it.

that was 3 days ago - nothing since. Starting to wonder if I should speak to the credit card provider and get a refund. WWYD?

I would be asking them for a refund. That’s seriously shit service. Otherwise, Twitter?

I can see it from the other side @shopafrolic from work, shipping between UK and EU is still an absolute bastard post-Brexit with customs clearance backlog and lack of clarity over charges. Despite the trade deal, couriers can charge for ‘additional clearance’ pretty much at their discretion, it’s a mess. Nonetheless, even if Z&V can’t do anything to expedite delivery of this package they should at the very least keep you informed and offer to resend or refund. Maybe send a strong reply before resorting to chargeback. Even mentioning chargeback should push them into responding. Disappointing service indeed. I just did an order from French kids site Smallable for ds, kept it deliberately under the £135 threshold to avoid import vat but am still a bit concerned about if/when and with what surcharges it will arrive.

Such a beautiful day today, had a break from work to walk in the park with a good friend after school pickup which was lovely. So nice to see all the dc back playing with their friends, just hope it continues.

The bag is here and sadly is disappointing. Gorgeous bag, perfect shape/size but the colour just isn’t as vibrant as online. I was expecting a proper royal blue colour but it’s more like a bright navy. And I wanted it to brighten up navy outfits which is won’t do.

QueenC that’s a shame. I’ll link if I see any brighter blue bags.

This weather is messing with my style optimism - I got all carried away dreaming of Spring outfits and bare feet and then today has been miserable. Bring back the sunshine.

To be honest, I’m relieved that the bag isn’t perfect as I was having a hard time reconciling with that amount of money.
shop I know what you mean about the weather. I’m sick of just wearing a coat all the time. It makes me v lazy with what I’m wearing as you can’t see it anyway.
