SO the last 'edition' took over a year to complete. Must try harder Voguettes. Despite the fact that we are still in lockdown, and rarely out of loungewear, there is still inspiration to be found. Spring is springing, brighter days are on the horizon and homeschooling CANNOT last forever (not if miniShop wants to live anyway).
So join us for style & beauty chat, and other inspiration as we navigate our way as stylishly as possible through lockdown 3.

@BlairWaldorfLovesShopping, I’m sorry I just saw your sad news. It’s sounded like a beautiful funeral full of love and support to acknowledge his life and your family’s loss Flowers

maradesbois · 04/03/2021 19:07

Intriguing @Applefairy ...

@DryWhiteagainW I think they might be temporarily over (heels), don’t think there’s ever been a time I can remember when they’ve been less in fashion, at least among younger girls. Also the choice of flats has improved so much. So many beautiful fabric and bejewelled options out there such as the attached from Jimmy Choo that a quick nap search revealed. Heels are so flattering through, they’ll never disappear altogether. Let’s see what post-Covid fashion looks like! Also, can’t believe your ds is graduating already, I remember you sending him off to uni, feels like no time ago.

@Dreamqueen lovely vejas, perfect for spring. Think you made the right choice. I’m still debating mine. Also great nails, I can’t do my own so am envious of those who can.

@shopafrolic so happy for you that things are on the up. Some lovely new shoe and bracelet buys too.

@QueenCremant in answer to your earlier question of what to wear if we were having a MU tomorrow, I’d go for this Dôen dress purchased in the same a year ago and still not worn. Absolutely no idea what shoes would work with it come to think of it, any ideas welcome.

Thank you @Applefairy Smile I am so intrigued by your new bag, very excited to see what it is!

@maradesbois that dress is gorgeous and so you.

I forgot about the MU outfit question! I’d wear the Rixo dress I bought from the OUTNET. Sadly I don’t think it is going to get worn this year. I was meant to be going to 5 weddings between May and August but the first 4 are looking a bit iffy still (and I’m a bridesmaid at the 5th for my sister). Fingers crossed though.

MissKittyKitty · 04/03/2021 21:43

That is such a @maradesbois dress it's so you. Love the Jimmy Choo's.

@Applefairy please link your bag when it arrives.

Fab sandals @shopafrolic

Hope you're having a good week off @QueenCremant.

Themarvellousmrsm · 04/03/2021 22:44

I've just managed to lose a long post a blessing in disguise as probably rambling so will do a quick round up instead:

Fab sandals shop, bang on trend
Definitely a 'you' dress mara, how about espadrilles?
Love your blouse Queen, love the colour
Looking forward to your bag pics apple

Dreamqueen · 05/03/2021 08:45

Beautiful dress Mara and perfert style for you. I'm in two minds about the Veja. I love them but theyre a bit on the big side but the size down would be too small. Not even a proper problem in the times we live in.

Looking forward to see your bag Applefairy.

No idea what to wear for a MU. I feel quite out of touch with style and trends. Will have to think further.

maradesbois · 05/03/2021 09:57

Spot on @Themarvellousmrsm , you’ve nailed it with espadrilles will wear my black castañers. Lovely to see back on the thread, great trainers btw.

@Dreamqueen ah in that case don’t keep they will only get looser with wear and annoy you. Just read back and saw you got Adidas sleek too, can’t you just stick with these for now? No judgement here if you want 2 pairs though!

QueenCremant · 05/03/2021 11:52

Loving all the MU outfits.
Lovely dress mara, espadrilles would work really well otherwise would white trainers work with it?
aople, excited about the bag...

I was going to wear the new grey top today as liked it with jeans. However, I do not like my jeans. I haven’t worn for a while and they just feel so uncomfortable Sad

Themarvellousmrsm · 05/03/2021 13:11

@maradesbois in my original list post I mentioned I thought you had castaners but couldn't remember the colour.

maradesbois · 06/03/2021 14:10

Yes I think white trainers would @QueenCremant, will try my boks. Ikwym about jeans, am wearing mine today to try and ease myself back in, too used to my smock dresses and elasticated waistbands Shock.

@Themarvellousmrsm I have black casnañers but looking a bit shabby and could do with updating for this summer. Really like this antique rose colour pictured but need the 60mm ones for day-to-day, 80 is too much for me!

these are the vejas I’ve been debating, thoughts? Also love this mint green colour.

Also still coveting Gucci princetown slippers in taupe or off white.

@Applefairy so what about this bag then?

QueenCremant · 06/03/2021 17:28

Really like those first Vejas mara. Also love the antique rose castaner

DryWhiteagainW · 06/03/2021 19:06

Marvellous I love those trainers. Love my A and G but fancy a chunkier, yours would be perfect.
Mara bought castañers a couple of years ago after you recommended them, love them.

I’d come to MU in leisure wear and shock you all Grin

DryWhiteagainW · 06/03/2021 19:06

No I wouldnt

maradesbois · 06/03/2021 19:51

@DryWhiteagainW LOL at a leisurewear MU!

MissKittyKitty · 07/03/2021 07:15

@maradesbois I prefer the first pair of Vejas with the brown V.

Lol at @DryWhiteagainW wearing leisure wear to MU. I reckon you could pull it off.

Themarvellousmrsm · 07/03/2021 08:22

@DryWhiteagainW, first thoughts on you rocking up in leisurewear was 'no way' Grin. However, it got me thinking, can one wear joggers AND heels, well, yes one can

DryWhiteagainW · 07/03/2021 08:47

Marvellous those 20yr olds can, not sure it’s a look for me.....although I bought a pair of black satin joggers from MV last year and I reckon they’d look a ok with heels. Still althleisure is necessity dressing for me Grin. One of the things I’ve liked about continuing to go to work during lockdown has been wearing my smart/casual workwear.....at times I may have overdressed .......moi?!!!!!!

DryWhiteagainW · 07/03/2021 08:50

An item I bought in the sale and am really looking forward to wearing with warmer weather is a tan biker jacket from Massimo Dutti. Can’t link as it’s disappeared from website, but think it’s a classic.

MarshaBradyo · 07/03/2021 08:51

Mara I have those castaners and really like them. Great colour. Think I have a flat version too.

Really like the Vejas and the Gucci slides are sublime

Dry in leisure wear at MU has made me ponder our opposite styles..

MarshaBradyo · 07/03/2021 08:52

I really want to link some items from Matches but I can’t work out how to do it from the app

Is there a way does anyone know?

MarshaBradyo · 07/03/2021 08:59

I feel the pull towards fresh and pale plus print

Here’s the fresh - Is a green bag a bad idea?

marsha will it go with everything in your wardrobe? I may have just ordered a bright blue bag (having pangs of guilt at the cost so may not keep) but I know it will go with most of my outfits.

maradesbois · 07/03/2021 13:58

@shopafrolic wow, that’s a game changer I honestly did not know you could generate a product link from the app Blush

MarshaBradyo · 07/03/2021 14:16

How do you generate it? Why can’t I copy the product link even when I click on that triangle thing

Do I have to send a fake email
