So I'm 58, wearing quite well but only 5'2 and a full figured 14 so am a bit mumsy, my hair is fairly thick with a wave in it, I have a round face, think a cross between Dawn French/Kerry Catona/ Amanda Redman. I have had this image on my phone for ages, am I kidding myself and will I look ridiculous.

Im a 16 with a face like a hamster storing food and I still look better with short hair
I grew it out from a pixie and it was past my chin but I hated it flapping around me so cut it off again.

It's nice but I look like you/same age and with that haircut I'd look like I was proper hard/just out of prison

Hmmm. I think it would be ok! I always think older women pull of short hair really well. It’s older women with long straggly hair that makes me cringe

I'm not suggesting any of these would suit me, just that it's possible to have a stylish short haircut when your over 50.

I think the main reason these look good is because of the severe grey colour .
