I usually thread!

Lockdown 1 was ok as my hair is lighter in summer but this time round not so much!

Advice please!

Honestly people, get one of the springy things as recommended by Pinky upthread. They're like,£2, from eBay, complete game changer.

I used to have mine threaded when I had my brows done but obvs lockdown put paid to that. All you do is bend the spring, pull your top lip taught and roll the spring over. It's a bit ouchy at first but once you've got it under control then it's just a case of maintenance. Every couple of days I do it for a minute or so and I have zero growth to be seen and the pain is minimal.

I love the JML hair remover. I couldn’t get the springy remover to do anything!

QuestionableMouse · 31/01/2021 20:05

I found the spring thing absolutely agony and I've been plucking my facial hairs for years.

Alternate wax and veet. Only wax when brows are desperate as well.

I had a JML thing which worked brilliantly until it stopped working altogether - now have an Amazon version of the same which is identical but cost about £5.

Dermaplane for me - I use a scalpel. Does my upper lip, face and eyebrows

I taught myself how to thread my own from a couple of YouTube videos. It’s really easy.

Get yourself a Philips lumea by far the best beauty item I've ever bought.

Yes it's brilliant

They don't work for all skin and hair tones though.
