I saw this Draped satin blouse whilst I was browsing the H&M website.

(I would usually call it a top but it is the H&M website that decided to call it a blouse)

I wanted it to be nice so I could say 'May I say what a smashing blouse that is'. But it really is horrible. I agree with the poster who've said it looks like coffin lining.

I don't think much of it but even if I loved it I couldn't wear it. It looks so uncomfortable.

Oh my god. It's given me flashbacks to my first year of uni - 2004 - when I got a top that was very heavily reduced from a fancy shop but I could NEVER make it work. It had the same 80s satin curtain vibe.

Just found an old photo on Facebook. It had clearly been relegated to fancy dress duty as I'm also wearing a curtain. Mainly horrified by how low rise my jeans were

This ruched style seems to be in fashion as I was browsing for clothes online yesterday and saw quite a bit of it. I don't mind it on the arms but I do think it would look a bit odd across the chest!

Sadly it’s the very definition of “ fast fashion” and will undoubtedly be sitting in some landfill for the next 1000 years.

I had a flower girl’s dress like that back in 1990 when I was 5.

It’s a bit too “Hyacinth Bucket’s Best Curtains” for me.

Be alright in a different colour, probably. I can't stand that shade.

If I were thin enough and had the figure to wear that... I would wear something nice instead.
