Like a mask or something , that’s transformed it to a luscious glossy mane.

I’ve tried olaplex. Meh.

Watching with interest.

Sometimes I sleep with a conditioning treatment in.

I’m convinced they could put anything in a round screwtop tub and I pay more for it

The loreal heatdream lengths masks that come in individual packets actually work wonders on my hair. I have fine, bleached hair and lots of it, so it has a tendency to be really dry and frizzy and this is the only thing that makes it shiny and look like fresh unbleached hair

I have been lucky so far but my friend swears by massaging in a thick layer of full fat mayonnaise then covering with a plastic cap or cling film for 1hr. Rinse with cool water, shampoo then condition.

Those little tubes of conditioner you get with box colours are good - but the best thing I ever had was a moisturising toner put on after it’d been coloured. I think it was a Wella one but it was at the hairdressers so not sure which one - my hair was so glossy and floppy afterwards!

PartoftheProbl3m · 12/01/2021 20:16

Ooh thank you. Can’t see heat dream

I bought some ‘Bleach London’ toner in the last lockdown to try and sort my highlights out. My hair is very frizzy, thick and dry on the ends because of the amount of heat I use to straighten it. My hair felt fab afterwards so that comes highly recommended.

Doodallysally · 12/01/2021 20:23

I use virgin coconut oil as a mask every 2 weeks. Massage it and leave in for 30 mins - 3 hours and wash it off. But I have very thick, straight hair - not sure how it works on fine hair but worth a try.

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 12/01/2021 20:24

I have fine hair but a lot of it and it's sort of curly so can look fab or shit depending on what I do with it. I wash my hair twice every 10 days (I've really long hair) and I condition every time I wash and use a scalp scrubber. If I want to deep condition I just use my normal conditioner, combed right through the lengths and sleep with it in. In the morning I just rinse it out and style.

Moroccan oil

Sleeping on a silk pillowcase has made my dry coloured hair much more silky... even my husband noticed!!

Thenthatsthatthen · 12/01/2021 20:28

I stopped using oplalex a few months back and swapped to garnier ultimate blends hair food-I use the the shampoo, conditioner and masque but the masque alone is what seems to be making the difference. The banana and coconut one is for dry hair. It’s 98% natural ingredients but more importantly no silicone. My hairs the nicest it’s ever been (and I ruined it with bleach last year and still dye it every 6-8 weeks)

TheDogsMother · 12/01/2021 20:29

Another one for Philip Kingsley Elastisizer.

sabrinathemiddleagewitch · 12/01/2021 20:36

Philip Kingsley Elastisizer on damp hair. Left overnight

Purplecatshopaholic · 12/01/2021 20:48

Palmers coconut leave-in conditioner. Fab stuff. Spray on damp hair after you have washed it. Really made a difference to mine and I get mine coloured (or do it myself just now!) all the time.

Aveda damage remedy makes my hair look amazingly glossy and gorgeous.

Affor · 12/01/2021 20:56

Argon oil is my go too. Don't even need conditioner anymore
