Like a mask or something , that’s transformed it to a luscious glossy mane.

I’ve tried olaplex. Meh.

Innoluxe Elixir v2

Squirt of Argan oil after (daily) washing

At home Keratin treatment every 3 months

Be careful of those (if you mean brazilian keratin treatments)- they contain formaldehyde or different forms and if you look at reviews, they have broken a lot of people's hair off

@FlyingByTheSeatof I have a tube of Aveda Damage Remedy (GWP I think) and have hesitated to use it as it is leave in.

I usually find leave in products weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. Do you leave it in or can you use it like a normal conditioner?

PK Elasticiser makes no difference to my hair sadly, even if I leave it on overnight. I do like the Garnier masks - cheap and cheerful but I think my hair needs something a bit extra.

But surely Olaplex main products eg 3 and 0 are not conditioners but bond-repairing? It seems odd to swop them for a conditioner. They presumably will have a noticeable effect gradually only if your hair was previously damaged eg by colouring. It's all quite confusing.

I will make my usual bleat about considering whether your hair is low porosity. If it takes ages to dry, and you tend to find products make it sticky, this might indicate that your hair will have trouble absorbing moisture. Try using heat on damp hair with conditioner (I have a heated cap or use in the sauna) to see if that helps.

Yes Olaplex is not a conditioner and unless you have the specific issue it treats, will do nothing for you. But it gets slated on here for not being a conditioner a lot, which pointlessly annoys me. (Why am I getting aerated on behalf of a hair treatment... lol!)

Couldn’t possibly wash it once a week I do every day I can’t stand dirty hair

Yup- if your hair hasn't been damaged by heat, or mechanical damage (eg excessive brushing)- which means your hair bonds have been broken, then olaplex will do nothing for you at all as it is a bond repairer treatment, not a conditioner.

or chemical damage etc

I like joico luster lock and I leave in as long as possible.

Just got the 4 pack of Olaplex and too soon to say if I like it or not.

Have previously used Amica Hair Food and quite liked this.

Bio oil - a shit ton of it overnight with a plastic bag tied on to avoid ruining the pillow! Wash it off in the morning & it transforms dry fluffy hair. Mind you these days you could probably put it on in the morning & stay at home looking like you’ve dipped your head in a chip pan then wash it off in the evening for the same result! Might do that tomorrow..

In the paper today they suggest this

Name ONE thing you’ve put on dry coloured hair.

Aveda Damage remedy daily hair repair- I put it on and heave in after washing ( usually without conditioner because I find both a bit heavy together)
