Lipstick Challenge - a different lipstick each day of Jan!

I remember a similar thread a few years ago that went down well

The idea is to use a different lipstick every day and share with the thread whether a review, photo, anything! It isn't about buying new ones necessarily but rediscovering ones you already own.

We do a NYD dinner here so will put a nice new one on for that tomorrow and report back!

What a shame! I can't remember having any issues with fire and ice + lipcote but maybe I didn't bother with the lipcote! Can't remember now!

L'Oréal colour riche in red carpet today.

It's new, I love it because I basically love all red lipsticks!

Revlon Coming up roses for me today.

I wanted a pinkie one to go with my Betty Boop "Tickled Pink" t shirt which has a bright pink heart on it. I didn't want matchy matchy because it is quite a fuchsia pink but still there is a bit of red to the pink in the lipstick.

Just finished filling in the Census. Feel like I need a drink now! Sadly I am at work so it will have to be sparkling water!!

I wore the red carpet one again today.

They are great and I've found quite a few of my lipsticks that look better with a tan.

Mac Russian Red today. I'm wearing a boiler suit an cos playing as Rosie the Riveter.

Ooooh... never tried Russian Red before but it's on my wishlist!

I have that one (Russian Red) somewhere! I was s l o w l y going through my boxes (moved into new room on Tuesday) and came across a load of Mac lipsticks. Saturday and Sunday are big days for me as I am not working and can not only do a massive laundry but can finally open more boxes! 6 are on top of a 3 drawer chest (or should I say Chester Drawers!!!) and I am very eager to remove them as I plan to put my skin care and mirror on top.

Wearing NYX matte lip cream in Montreal today.

Wearing Avon true matte lipstick in Ravishing Rose today, I've had this in my makeup bag for ages but not tried it before now. I really love the colour (surprise surprise ) though I find the Avon mattes a bit dry so it needs a dab of lip balm.

I prefer the Avon one to the NYX one but must confess never liked the Avon formulas.

I have got the Revlon Coming Up Roses on again. Trying to sort all my make up out into the plastic make up tower plus I have some lipstick holders too.

Really trying to sort out my room but unpacking has been hard because I had developed an infection in one of my lungs so getting easily puffed out.

Same range today but Mon Jules instead. It's quite a dark purple so I'm wearing it as a berry type stain which looks nice and has been very long lasting.

Sorry to hear you've not been well @Deathraystare hope you are feeling better soon. I have quite a bit from Avon as I have a relative that used to be a rep so I got a few freebies . I got bit carried away at the weekend and ordered several more lipsticks! Trying another new one today NYX in Milan.

Well why not? I wasn't being snobby when I said I didn't like their lipsticks. Hell, I use lots of cheapies and do in fact love their eyeliner glimmersticks. You do wear some lovely lipsticks. I especially like the very bright ones!

I am wearing a Lancome one today. Don't have it in my bag for some reason but have mentioned it on here before. It is a very quiet one because my t shirt is fuchsia and I could not find a bright pink this morning and it might clash with my wonderful Mac eyeshadow which is a glittery pink but not fuchsia bright.

We all seem to be pale skinned on here! I would be interested to see more diversion! It would be good to see darker skinned ladies who can get away with more flamboyant/darker tone lipsticks. I remember a picture of a darker skinned woman wearing a metallic mauve/purple lipstick - imagine the colour of the Cadbury's chocolate wrapping! Looked fantastic on her, would probably have looked shitty on me!

Oh I am wearing a Laura Mercier lipstick which I have worn on here before called Rouge Eclat a rather bright pink. I feel sort of 80's with my bright blue t shirt and my sparkly lilac eyeshadow!

@Deathraystare I'm wearing a maybelline 24hr wear double ended type thing. It's in raspberry and I quite like it but I suit bolder colours more so it's not one of my favourites.
