Lipstick Challenge - a different lipstick each day of Jan!

I remember a similar thread a few years ago that went down well

The idea is to use a different lipstick every day and share with the thread whether a review, photo, anything! It isn't about buying new ones necessarily but rediscovering ones you already own.

We do a NYD dinner here so will put a nice new one on for that tomorrow and report back!

I'd murder for that Matt Ink @RedLipsAndRosyCheeks, that's a lovely one and will have to go on the list. The only red one I have is groundbreaker which is lovely but a bit more brown/orange.

The pathfinder looks quite similar, would you say the front runner is more bluey?

Front runner is darker and more red than pathfinder. I'm rubbish about whether colours are more bluey sorry!

Here is a good review of them both and savant (this post convinced me I needed all 3 as a Christmas present!)
It helpfully shows them in comparison to the other similar shades in the range.

I may or may not be looking to see which ones I'm missing!

Turns out I've got them all except for inspirer!

Sorry I dropped off the thread for a bit, had a lazy weekend and wore no lipstick at all. Wearing MAC Ruby Woo today, love it but my skin looks very pasty in the photo!

Revlon matte lip colour in obsession

This thread has inspired me to organise my lipsticks and really evaluate what colours actually suit me ond those that don't.

Also my favourite quality out of every lipstick I have is the kiko so I've just ordered myself a few more LOL this is kiko hazelnut in very bad lighting

Me too @8lue8ird. Although I must have 40+ I probably only wear 4 or 5 regularly. I love how this thread has got me trying out lots of different ones & weeding out those I don't want to keep. I've also realised that probably 80% of my collection are various shades of bright pink & i need more variety!

Today is another I don't wear often, Avon matte in pure pink. Its a nice pinky nude & i like the consistency, its not too drying. I should wear this more often.

@Lilypad78 the matte ink crayons are nice - but don't have the staying power of the liquid lipstick
I've got both and I think the crayons are more of a longish lasting lipstick, and the seem to hold up reasonably well to eating and drinking but I don't think they'd be mask proof

Thats a lovely colour, I have a S&G lipgloss but it kind of burns my lips, I also get the same sensation from a burts bees tinted lip balm I own. Maybe its got menthol or such in but I can't get over it.

Maybe its time to move back to the 'what lipstick are you wearing today' thread, as Jan is over.

Thanks @ClosedAuraOpenMind, I do like the look of the crayons as well but probably best waiting until we can go out to places without masks then, whenever that might be!

Trying another unworn one today, MAC in Red full stop. I've had it so long I think it's actually been discontinued now but I've never worn it. Classic example of me trying something 'different' from my usual style but just ending up with something that doesn't suit me. Its a really bright coral red, but I've blotted it a lot to soften it. I don't think I will keep this, I know I won't wear it again.

I'm wearing front runner again today, I love it! It's a thinner consistency than others in the range so it was a little patchy when I first put it on.

Wearing Bourjois rouge edition velvet matte in Don't pink of it! I have a couple of these & love them, the texture is lovely & creamy for a matte. Looking back through my pictures its very similar to the Avon one but a bit pinker.

@Lilypad78 I was tempted by a bright pink in that bourjois line - it was less than £3 on Amazon when I last looked.

And I really liked the blotted coral red on you yesterday.
