Nicole Kidman's green coat - ugly or not?

Apparently, this coat has "divided the internet". Many people think it's ugly. I like it, and I'd definitely wear it (if I had £3,000 to spend on a coat). What do you all think?

I like style and fabric but not the colour.

AfterSchoolWorry · 09/12/2020 14:30

Horrible as a coat, but nice as a dressing gown!

SillyUnMurphy · 09/12/2020 14:31

I thought a lot of her clothing in the show looked like nightwear.

Iamblossom · 09/12/2020 14:33

I don't like it at all.

I did, however, love the dress she wore to the fundraiser, she looked like a mermaid.

MerlotChiantiMontepulicano · 09/12/2020 14:35

I didn't like the hood. The colour is nice, fabric ok.

WokesFromHome · 09/12/2020 14:41

She looks good in it but IRL it may be a bit migraine inducing.

YellowHighlighterPen · 09/12/2020 14:41

I'd much rather have Bilbo Baggins' dressing gown.

Aposterhasnoname · 09/12/2020 14:43

It looks lovely on her but then Nicole Kidman would look good in an old potato sack. I’d look like the grinch.

IsolaPribby · 09/12/2020 14:45

I think it's gorgeous!

prunetang · 09/12/2020 14:58

Looks like a dressing gown. Not for me.

HappyGirlNow · 09/12/2020 14:59

No. But the fundraiser dress was gorgeous 😍

DryRoastPeanut · 09/12/2020 15:00

It looks nice on her. It would look crap on me, being about a foot shorter than NC and probably twice as heavy as her.

twinklespells · 09/12/2020 15:01

I really like it. Great for her figure, and contrasts beautifully with her hair.

Alexandernevermind · 09/12/2020 15:02

She looks fabulous it in. I'm confident I would not!

Redcrayons · 09/12/2020 15:05

It’s a bit too ‘drama teacher’ for me, I couldn’t pull it off.

Looks nice on her, but she can wear a bin liner and look good.

KiposWonderbeasts · 09/12/2020 15:07

Loved it on her. I'd look like a troglodyte in it.

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 09/12/2020 15:08

I like it but then I have red hair too and love green.

riotlady · 09/12/2020 15:14

I love it, but admit that witchy middle aged art therapist is totally my vibe

Tenyearsgone · 09/12/2020 15:19

It's gorgeous.

Yes that’s me... old art school student grew up!
OutwiththeOutCrowd · 09/12/2020 15:27

It works with the tumbling pre-Raphaelite hair.

msssm · 09/12/2020 15:29

Gorgeous and really suits her colouring.

I'd wear it if I could afford it.

That was stunning!
mistermagpie · 09/12/2020 15:33

I think the coat is awful. Every time she had it on me and DH said 'oh there's the green dressing gown again!'

That shimmery dress from the fundraiser though - absolutely stunning.

Sadly I don’t have the long red hair with large curly - it’s more like Worsel gummage!
